Constant Loud Hiss
Constant loud and high pitched hiss in both adaptors that I received. It makes for an incredibly unpleasant listening experience. I was hoping that these would be better than the UGREEN adaptor that died on me in less than a week but they unfortunately sound much worse than that one did. I have another longer adaptor by this same company and it sounds nothing like this. Besides the sound quality, it fit well with my Spigen tough armor case, and it connected quickly. Update: I have received a full refund.

Not really working with iPhone15
I'm using this to jack in my wired bose sports headphones to my iphone15 usbc connector - which sort of "works", but has some issues. One unit I have to jiggle around everytime to make the connection - both, upon connection, will automatically ramp the volume up to full, and upon manually turning it down on the phone will automatically ramp it back up again, so its full volume or nothing. I'm looking for a better alternative.

I use this for connecting a wired headset to my phone through a USBC slot. The adapter works fine

Don't work with a phone case
These are GREAT adapters, produced by an EXCELLENT company. They just didn't work for me and what I needed. Returned and replaced with the corded version.

Not Recommended: Hiss, Pops, Drops, Delays
If you're considering this 3.5mm to USB-C adapter, I recommend choosing another product. I gave it a shot; and honestly, it’s been more frustrating than useful. This product is inexpensive but doesn't generally perform at an acceptable level when plugged into my Android device. 1. The noise floor is noticeably loud when no audio is playing, which means you’re constantly hearing an annoying hiss in the background when the DAC is on and idle. 2. It randomly emits ear-piercing pops and crackles—completely unpredictable and incredibly jarring. 3. The audio cuts out briefly during playback from time to time, which really messes with the listening experience. 4. The audio has a noticeable delay during playback. This characteristic won't matter for sound-only, but is perceptible when watching videos. Overall, not recommended: the sound quality is not stable for my use case of any audio playback on Android. You can find alternatives via web search for budget audiophile recommendations for dongle DACs. Those alternatives may be slightly more expensive because the internal DAC and/or amplifier chips are better quality.

Good product
Does exactly what I need it to do, good sound quality (compared to wireless buds). Fits well with my case. But I wish it came in a different color.
