... this for my husband for Christmas and was so pleased to have found it on Amazon
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and was so pleased to have found it on Amazon. A friend of our got this cookbook years ago with redeemed coupons from Marlboro cigarettes. As far as I know that was the only way to get your hands on one of these...until now via Amazon. If you find one of these cookbooks and love to cook don't pass it up! Beautifully made with high quality paper, awesome photos, and incredible recipes. The book arrived as described in about 1 week. Perfect all the way around.

I bought this book for the cinn roll recipe alone!
Book came in perfect condition. I can't wait to make these cinn rolls. They're the best I ever tasted. Awesome price for this book too. I've seen it much higher. My ex and I had this book when we were married and he got it. We actually got it with Marlboro miles back in the day. I had to have it again! Thank you! & yes! Buy it!

Awesome cookbook-and i did'nt have to smoke to get it!
I have wanted a copy of this FOREVER, my dad had one along time ago, and I would always page through it and copy recipes out on a piece of notebook paper! i've always kept an eye out for one, but never had any luck until AMAZON. If you love TexMex, South of the Border, Southwestern, New Mexico, or Mexican cooking, this book is a must have. The recipes are delicious and unique, and the photographs are absolute ART (just beatiful to look at). A very special cookbook ~ and you don't have to smoke to get it! yey!

More Than Pleased — Beautiful
I just received this cookbook, sent via USPS and delivered to my doorstep on a Sunday evening which by itself is a pleasant surprise based on convenience alone, and added to my delight is the fact that this book couldn’t be in much better condition unless it were fresh off the printing press. Its condition is spectacular, and for that I am extremely grateful.

just ok
Hinge is loose and detached. I can fix that myself. One of the post cards is missing and another detached and floating free. I can't fix that. Great book though! just love the Marlboro Series. They are among the most unique and beautifully crafted cookbooks I own. Every recipe is a winner. The recipes seem to be as thoroughly researched as something akin to Hank Shaw's work but much more attractively presented, Can't go wrong here.

Cooking the Cowboy Way
This cookbook is a wonderful collection of not only crowd-pleasing recipes inspired by cowboy campfire cooking, it also contains some nice cowboy related retro postcards, posters and artwork. This is the third Marlboro Country Cookbook we've invested in and this edition doesn't disappoint - a nice selection of stick-to-your ribs dishes and beautifully illustrated.

Great cookbook, with simple authentic recipes.
Was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this cookbook is. Proper old and classic American recipes, beautifully presented (with photographs of each dish), with pullouts of Americana memorabilia inside, with yes, more recipes on them! It genuinely felt like a pop up book for adults. All the meals are hearty, including stews, chili, fajitas, peach pies. Would really advise the book if you're into cooking in cast iron or interested in American cuisine (what I mean by that is, this book does *not* contain recipes for hot dogs, burgers, diabetes, that kind of thing). And if there are doubts about it being Marlboro, as far as I can tell, there's nothing at all to do with cigarettes in it. It's just a decent cookbook cashing in on their (at the time) advertising. I believe they published other 'manly' cookbooks, so you too could share all the wonders of being the Marlboro Man. The book's theme is of cowboy life, with no mention of cigarettes. The recipes themselves are simple ones, with easy to source ingredients, and can be made inexpensively. There's no expectation of being a gourmet chef or anything of the sort, so there's no worry of having to spend £££ on an unfamiliar spice that will never be used again and grow stale in your cupboard type of situation. And for this reason, it adds to the authenticity of recipes, where you are free to chop and change as you wish, and still remain true to dish. If I were to recommend the book to anyone, I would say it suits the individual that's levelled up from typical student cuisine involving instant noodles and dolmio pasta, but far from being able to say that they're a good cook, and now they're looking to expand on their culinary knowledge. (But please don't be deterred if you are indeed a fantastic cook, it is still a very inspiring and beautiful cookbook!) And double bonus, if you enjoy video games: If you've played Red Dead Redemption, if feels just like a culinary extension of the game.
