Yes, it has a bad smell, but it's one of the top 3 best purchases I've ever made. First, I want to address the.... baby vomit-ish smell, since some reviewers are making it seem as if it's unbearable. Like I said, it's bad, but It's not like you can't get past it. Just open it from at least half an arm's length away. Plus, the less pills that remain, the less you smell it. There could be a lingering smell on your breathe, if you don't actually follow it with a meal. But either it really loses it's pungency after a while, or I've gotten used to it, because I haven't had a problem with that lately, even when I just follow it with a drink (coffee [I don't know how it reacts to alcohol]). Don't be scared by the size. Even though the pills are big, they go down easily. Aside from a couple of times when I guess the edge where the capsule connects, caught, and scratched my tonsil. I think it's because I hesitated, because it feels like nothing, when I do it fast. But the benefits I've experienced FAR exceed the negatives. I felt that tingle that signals hair growth, more than I did when I was taking pills SPECIFICALLY for hair growth. A stubborn pimple just about disappeared, and I didn't get any back...... until a couple of days ago.... Which confused me, but led me to the most amazing benefit (in my case) yet: I'm 19, and after 4 or 5 years, I got my period! I was confused about whether I stopped getting it because of my diet (since when it improved, I still didn't get), or if there was something seriously wrong with me. And though it's bad, I opted not to go to the doctor, wrote it off as extremely early menopause, and was just happy that I didn't have to deal with what other women did. But of course it secretly bothered to not really know what was going on. This just proved that it WAS my diet. And apparently I'm not even finished with puberty yet, because my nipples started hurting like they did when they my breasts started growing (unless that always happens when women are on their period). Regardless, I'm sooooo grateful for these supplements, and just repurchased.

These are like many other capsules. There is no smell. There is no taste. Yes, the recommendation is for four a day but I take only two. I need a nutritional supplement not a replacement because I do eat well just not enough. Iron upsets my stomach so I chose the one without iron which I am grateful is available. I plan to update the review in a couple of weeks. I wish all the reviews posted applied to the correct products. These are not gels.

I would give 5 stars but my bottle came with at least 2 empty capsules. Can I get a refund or a new bottle? That is a full day of a missing dose.

I didn't give 5 star rating on easy to swallow because the pills are quite large. However, they are not difficult to swallow as they are the gel caps. Now also makes the EVE formula in a hard capsule and it is a lot more difficult to swallow, so I also didn't want anyone to think these are hard to get down, they aren't. As far as flavor, all you taste is the neutral flavor of the gel cap - I have never let one dissolve in my mouth, so I don't know what the contents would taste like if I did - I suspect it might not be too pleasant. I noticed that they recommend 4 a day with this formula while the previous EVE I had recommended 3, so I read thru the amounts of each nutrient that was included and there are several differences - big one - no iron - which can be a big deal depending on which side of "child bearing age" you are on. What I'm noticing so far, is that these seem to have a lot more vitality than the previous product. I like that. I take them to kind of fill in the places where my diet might come up a bit short. And the EVE has always done that for me. These seem to be very good and I will look for this formulation the next time I purchase!

I have plenty of other supplements from this brand and have no issues. Recently, I noticed I kept getting stomach aches midday. Couldn’t figure out why until I realize I tried this new vitamin. The smell is bad which I can handle, but I cannot handle the stomach ache. I even tried doing two pills a day instead of four and my stomach still hurts.

The ingredient list is solid and covers most of the basics plus a few extras like cranberry and CoQ10. I have not noticed any side effects and it seems to help fill the gaps in my diet. The only downside is having to take three tablets a day, which can feel like a lot if you already take other supplements. The tablets are also a little on the larger side but still manageable with food. Good option if you want a more complete multivitamin and do not mind the serving size.

I have tried different multivitamins over the years, but this is the one that I feel the most difference from taking. I feel I have more energy. I love the fact that they are soft and squishy, so although the capsules are on the large size, I find them easy to swallow. Great quality ingredients, too, with a number of ingredients specific for women.
