Quickly mount your bird feeder or bird house with this mounting plate. It is designed to fit several of our poles, such as MP-15, MP-15G, MP-8M or MP-6. Hardware included. Review: This will help the house from being wobbly, but wish i had bought the complete package when i thought of it, did not realize it comes seperate. Review: This pole is so easy to operate--i can do it myself (I am a 65-year-old grandma). I did add a squeezer on the bottom pole so it would stay down in the sleeve when putting the pole back up. Also be sure to check both sides if the instrctions! The installation is different fir a martin house versus martin gourds. As for the martin house instructions..They are pretty bad. I especially laughed at the drawing of the circular flange head-on so it looks like a stick. And the "poly" is actually the pole. Oh, and the set screw is called a couple of different names in the knstructions. Took me three hours for a three-story (18 room) house.

The mounting plate on our Heath wooden martin house broke, probably my fault, but this was the perfect replacement.

When I bought this, I thought it would be for a Martin house I was building. Nope. I modified it a tad and use it to have my over sized bird feeder on a wood pole. Works awesome for that!

While not necessary for most Heath brand birdhouses when you use Heath poles and kit, it is what you are looking for when mounting home made houses or other brands that mount on the underside of the house.
