Can this be used to hang a large fern plant from a gutter?

It would depend on the weight of the plant (pot, soil, water) and the strength of the gutter, but I would think that it would be ok.

Does anyone know what gauge this hook is? Thx.

Description says it is .2 inch diameter. Looking at a gauge to inch converter, that would put it between 4 and 5 gauge. closer to 4.
