He found the tools very functional and is already planning to buy another one. The wax holds the beard nicely, and the shampoo leaves it soft and clean. The only thing I personally didn’t like is the scent of the beard oil — it wasn’t very pleasant to me — but of course, this can be a matter of personal preference. It works perfectly, makes your beard grow and leaves it soft, it comes with everything it says it contains, it has enough for a month or more depending on how much you use it, excellent quality, perfect size, compact, 100% functional.

Let me start off by saying I wish I would have purchased this years ago! I've had a beard for the past 10 years of so but I didn't really start growing it out long until about 2 years ago. In those 2 years I've had to trim my beard many times (especially on the sides) because of rogue hairs that would not stay put. After my first application of the beard oil I could tell this was the product for me. My beard felt instantly softer, the straggling hairs laid down and the smell smelt' manly but not overpowering. After about a week of use I've noticed my beard looks thicker, not because it magically make it thicker but because it allows your straggling hair to lay flat and not stick out wildly, it's also conditioning the hair and I think the added nutrients promote a richer and thicker look. My beard dander has greatly reduced and so has the itching which was driving me crazy and was the leading factor in me buying this kit. As for the quality of the kit everything seems great, the wood comb is light-years better than my old plastic comb (doesn't pull) and the brush helps get stubborn hairs fall in place after applying the product. The scissors seem to be good quality but I've only used them 2 times to try them out before my girlfriend snagged them for herself. Looks like I'll have to track them down any time I want to trim my mustache from now on. All in all if you're on the fence about getting it for yourself or as a gift for someone else I'd say get it! Everything I've experienced has been all pros and not a single con. 10/10 will buy again!

I got this in Jan 2023 before I even started my beard journey so I could have it on hand when I did start. The packaging was great and I was excited to start using it. The sandalwood fragrance was amazing and even my wife was excited for me. A few months later, I was using the brush several times a day to try and train my beard. The stiff bristles are really nice but after a while when my beard was longer, the brush no longer worked like it did before. I switched to the comb and that seemed to help. If you are planning on keeping your beard short to medium length, the brush and comb are a great combo. The scissor was all but worthless IMHO. It is more like a glorified tweezer. The wash is not really anything to write home about either but it is better than using shampoo or body wash (pro tip: DON'T use shampoo or body wash on your beard!). The oil is pretty decent but the scent doesn't last very long. After about an hour, I could no longer smell it. The balm is the same way which is a bit disappointing since it does give good hold for styling. I never tried the razor so I can't speak to that. This is a good intro to beard care products BUT if you are planning on growing a long beard you definitely need to invest in some higher quality products. There are many great companies who make their products here in the USA (this company makes theirs in China) so you know it won't be sitting in a hot warehouse for a long time. Yes, you are going to pay more for it because the quality of the ingredients is better. That being said, I can recommend this for someone who is just starting out. Just be prepared to move on to something better. I started growing my beard in Jan 2023 and this product did what it is supposed to do but after about 5 months I switched to higher quality products and my beard growth took off. Now, in Dec 2023, I have an 8" beard with no plans on stopping.
