Just the job

This gate works well for us. We have a spiral staircase and needed a stair gate that would fit an 88cm gap. This does the job. One of the other reviewers has commented about drilling holes, I can only assume they received another product as mine is on the wall and stair frame with just suction caps only and is not going to moving any time soon! The gate's clipping mechanism could do with slight improvements in my opinion but its only a small niggle. It keeps the baby out of trouble and so I would recommend to others. I have ordered another for the top of the stairs now as well.

Its a nightmare to open. I have ended up sellotaping the bottom catch up as it was too hard! It makes a loud clang waking the baby unless i ease it shut and though it does swing to it doesnt actually swing CLOSED and safe all the time, in fact only 50% of the time. It says quite clearly on the description that it is pressure mounted, which i wanted as I am selling the house soon and i didnt want to be drilling holes, not to mention the fact that i dont know how, so when it came and the instructions say you need to drill it in the wall as well I could have screamed! I deliberately paid a lot more money to get a gate that was pressure mounted and had a self close safety feature as the one time my mum forgot to close our other gate the baby fell down the stairs!! This product failed on both counts. Also it says you have to tighten one side more than the other to get the catches level. Its near impossible to do without making the gate totally loose on one side, otherwise they arent level and cant shut! Stupid gate, Stupid expensive gate!

Does the trick

The first gate arrived which was both scratched and badly damaged, thus was down to the delivery people rather than the fault of the manufacturers. However the quality is not good. I purchased the same gate 2 years ago and the new one was no where as good as the previous one. The gate has gone up in price but the quality has gone down in quality and build. Will not be buying another one of these gates should I need one there is better gates at a lower price that will do the job.

A little flimsy but does the job (stopped the dog getting upstairs)

Not up to the job. Collapsed on my 7 year old twice. The 2 year old nearly pulled it out from the bannister. Needs constant tightening. The wife just screamed at me to get rid as she tripped on it and it fell apart just missing the 2 year old. Whatever safety tests this passed are not good safety tests.

Prodotto robusto, di ottima qualità, si adatta perfettamente ad aperture da 72 a 95 cm grazie alle due prolunghe fornite nella confezione base. Facile ed intuitivo da montare, può anche essere fissato senza bulloni mediante i supporti regolabili. Apertura in entrambi i versi. Facile da aprire e chiudere con una mano. Adatto ad impedire il passaggio a bambini, cani ed anche gatti (considerato che questi ultimi saltano, ho aggiunto una tenda). Il rapporto qualità / prezzo, a confronto con articoli simili, ma meno flessibili in termini di dimensioni è eccezionale. Consegnato nei tempi indicati, imballaggio originale perfetto. Ottimo acquisto. Pienamente soddisfatta. Consigliato

Barrière très pratique et conforme a la description. L'ensemble semble solide : a confirmer a l'usage. Installation facile. Livraison très rapide.

Ho acquistato questo cancelletto dopo aver trascorso quasi un mese a confrontare tutti quelli disponibili su amazon, a leggere tutte le recensioni positive, ma soprattutto quelle negative. Ebbene, non potevo fare scelta migliore!!! E' vero, ce ne sono alcuni più economici, ma sinceramente io consiglierei di optare per questo perché i pochi euro in più sono davvero ben spesi. Arriva corredato già con 2 prolunghe, inoltre è facilissimo da montare, non bisogna fare buchi, ma funziona a pressione. Il mio unico timore era proprio legato a questa caratteristica, temevo che sarebbe ceduto sotto il tiro dei miei bimbi, invece mi sono dovuta ricredere. Lo uso ormai da quasi 2 anni e non si è MAI staccato, e i mie bimbi non sono certo due angioletti! Si può aprire con una sola mano e questo è comodissimo quando dovete fare le scale con il bimbo in braccio. L' apertura può essere sia a dx che a sx. Infine non si è sbeccato né scolorito.

Nous avons acheté cette barrière pour fermer un escalier pour notre chiot. Nous avions eu déjà ce type de produit pour nos enfants, celui ci n'est pas ce que nous eu de mieux. Peu pratique pour l'ouvrir, deux mains sont nécessaires, nous l'avons gardé par nécessité, mais nous avons limé une partie pour en faciliter son ouverture.
