Amazing controller and discord support
I bought this controller on November last year. This controller was literally the best controller anybody could ever ask for. Immediately stick drift solved. The original Xbox controllers are bound to get stick drift in like 3 months but I used this controller for more than half a year and works amazing. The sticks are very smooth and the triggers and bumpers feel expensive. The cord is long and the connection to the Xbox/PC is really fast too. Itโs also no rocket science to connect. The overall feel of the controller is actually nice, like it feels light and comfortable to hold. Up until a few weeks when I dropped it hard, I contacted discord support and they immediately gave me a replacement. Apparently thereโs a Gamesir warranty for 1 year. I got to keep the old one too. The support agents are nice and very helpful. Overall this controller is really really good. 1000% recommend.

Controller is pretty good for a cabled one
Its so nice to have a wired controller with no stick drift. The cable is nice and long if i wanna game from the bed. Feels decently durable.

Possibly the best default controller for xbox
I own two Microsoft Elite controllers and after replacing the broken shoulder buttons twice on one, once on the other then abandoning it due to severe stick drift, I just gave up. I heard that "hall effect" sticks are more resilient to drift so I tried this and loved it out of the box. Great feel, solid design. To itemize: - shoulder buttons feel good. Nothing special, but a remarkable improvement over the MS elite. - back buttons are better than the elite for me; not intrusive an prevent accidental presses. - config app is UX is identical to the MS app. Three(3) available slots for hot-swap configs. - D-pad feels amazing; best way to explain it is "a controller version of an MX brown input". - Built-in volume control with a dedicated mute button (excellent for my mid-match sneezes) I would buy a console-only xbox with this controller as my "perfect gift" idea. That's how much I like it. Two major caveats though: - This controller is only wired. I prefer that, but I can see how that'd be a deal-breaker. Planning on buying a 2nd controller so we'll see how it works with two. - The back buttons are re-mappable with the free app but, as far as I know, are not unique inputs; you don't net additional buttons with this controller.

Best entry level Hall effect controller. No premium charged, no stick drift, and no cut corners.
1 year owner I did a stupid and bought the white version, which gets dirty if you don't keep your hands completely clean. Aside from that user error, here are the issues with this controller; Software can be finnicky on first setup for Win 10. Do some basic troubleshooting and it will work fine. It's been months since I set it up for a friend, so I don't remember the exact steps, but it cares which USB port it's plugged into, for some reason. After you get it set up, this issue disappears. And by issues, I mean issue. This controller is great. Zero stick drift, as promised, and I play Rocket League at college level, so I'm not exactly light on the bumper buttons. I have been playing RL on this controller for the entire time, and it is in perfect condition. No issues with a shorted wire, and no degradation of responsiveness or input smoothness. I don't suggest the white version, but beyond that, this controller is 100% worth the price, multiplied by the number of classical controllers you'd have to buy instead as each one gets stick drift. (Assuming you don't know how to replace the joysticks; if you have the knowhow, why are you here? Go buy hall effect joysticks.)

Great Controller
Initially was wanting to get a PS5 controller but learned about hall effect. Did some research and decided on this controller. Whilst I wasn't trying to buy from the dealer, I didn't realize there were two separate listings. The controller came great and brand new. The software is okay and decent itsh. It's functional and mild easy to use. However I noticed some glitching in the software with the deadzones and triggers. Not sure if it's just me or not, but the controller works and the deadzones are non existent. The analogs are smooth, loose feeling but tight. The buttons are great and responsive. I enjoy the membrane x, y, a, b buttons, I don't need the clicky sounds. The cord is long enough, might even prefer longer? It sucks its not wireless either, would have made this controller even better. Came with a mo th of Game Pass Ultimate, instructions and a Sticker. The controller is also relatively small. Wasn't expecting it to be so tiny (although I have bigger hands than a normal person).

Feels good in the hand, performs well in games. Exactly what I was looking for.
This has been a great replacement controller - so good that my son has taken it for his room; I haven't seen it in two weeks. But while I got to use it, it was great. It's textured well, so it stays in my hand, and the controls are all properly responsive.

D-pad could use some improvement
So far so good for the price, its really not a bad controller 2 months of use update, the x button isnโt responding as well and triggers button have a but of delay on them Aug.20, the controller just disconnects on its on automatically at random times, idk whats causing it but not happy about it

Reliable, Responsive, and Great Value for the Price
Iโve been using the GameSir G7 SE for about six months now, and it has genuinely impressed me. The controller feels very responsive, with precise inputs that make a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. The build quality is solid, and even after extended use, Iโve had no issues with stick drift or sticky buttons which is a big plus. One of the standout features is the customization. The companion app is simple and straightforward to use, making it easy to adjust settings and fine-tune the controller to your preference. You get a lot of flexibility without it feeling complicated, and for most players, it offers everything youโd realistically need. The only important thing to note is that this controller is wired, so it does need to be plugged in at all times. If youโre specifically looking for a wireless option, you may want to look into other models. For PC and Xbox use, though, this works perfectly. The inclusion of a free month of Game Pass is also a nice bonus and adds extra value. Overall, this is an easy 5-star product for me. Great performance, strong customization options, and excellent reliability so far. Iโd happily recommend it over a standard controller.

Best Budget Controller Ever?!?!
Comparing this to an Xbox 1st party controller makes me wonder how big vendors still get away with charging the prices they do. For a lower price you're getting a perfect lightweight and robust controller, featuring Hall Effect sticks (no stick drift) and 2x customisable back paddles, Feels great in the hands and just as good to play with as your standard and even elite 1st party Xbox Controllers Would highly recommend looking into the GameSir range if you care about value

Great Controller With Some Flaws & Missed Opportunity
Overall the controller is great, many of my perceived flaws are my personal preferences so I that won't reflect in my score but I'll include it in the review since it could be helpful to some. BEFORE USING THE CONTROLLER Downloading the companion app and turning the "raw" settings on for the sticks is absolutely necessary, without it the sticks are inaccurate and some games are literally unplayable. In Baldur's Gate 3 it's difficult to select certain options on the selection wheel and in Lightyear Frontier the game is actually unplayable since you can't complete the tutorial because you cannot select required options in the crafting wheel. Another Hall Effect controller had the same issue but they fixed it in a firmware update, hopefully Gamesir does the same but turning on "raw" works in the interim. Certain button placements are awkward for me, the buttons on the bottom are too easy for me to press so I keep them off even in competitive games that I would normally like to use them. The back and select buttons are in an awkward location and require you to shift your entire hand around the controller to press them. Missed Opportunity The fact that this controller has removable sticks but Gamesir doesn't offer a selection of longer sticks or different shape grips or even premium versions is supremely disappointing. I would pay extra for an accessory kit that includes longer stick selections, even more for one with metal parts and I'd even pay for metal anti friction rings for the faceplate. I don't like domed sticks myself but I'm sure others would like the opportunity to pay for them.
