Does what it’s supposed to.
Just Basic headlamp but nothing fancy or special, extremely bright for its size, love the headband and the ability to attach it to my hardhat. As for Switching between the 2 ? buy a second one to leave attached to the hardhat and one for the band.

Fits like a glove fr my needs.
Superb product , love it - would buy it again- it’s eye visor keeps me efficient because I’m not constantly removing and cleaning my safety glasses throughout the day and the head lamp is bright and lasted two full days- it’s so good it was stolen! But I’m getting another it’s worth the cost!

Honest opinion
Very lightweight. It is a rated hardhat, but you would think it's a costume prop by the initial feel. The material is not as thick or sturdy feeling like what most might be use to. I'm in equipment most of the day so that's o.k. for me (being that wearing a hardhat is optional in the cab). The chinstrap is removable and the harness adjust just as any other hardhat. It has reflective markings. And the light is more than bright enough for me to inspect equipment in the dark, early morning hours. I chose the tinted goggle shield (which can be replaced) because I face mainly east & west all day. So when the sun is in direct line of sight, the shield adds extra protection from being sun blind. Overall, the chinstrap makes it look more awkward than what it really is. It fits snug on my small head. Anything coming fast or large enough to damage this hat will most likely damage any hat. No more headaches from wearing safety glasses that I always set down somewhere. It comes assembled except for the light being attached in place. I have several hats, and I'm sure this will quickly become my everyday PPE. Mainly because of the goggles, light and overall weight.
