Good Replacement
Got this to replace lost remote. At first we couldn’t get it to work, it would not pair with the remote we had before. Had an electrician come install the whole thing as a new system, it works great. Easy to read, user friendly.

Easy to install
This fireplace remote and receiver does what I need it to do and was simple to install (plug and play). I was replacing a remote for Napoleon (f60 remote and receiver) fireplace with bad receiver (broken battery box). Unfortunately the receiver box for this unit is made with cheap thin plastic too, but the design is better so I am hoping for longer life. The remote for this unit is well made and has all features I need and a few extras. The remote is the size of a small cell phone in length, width, thickness, and feels good in your hand. The screen is large with large easy to see numbers and text. The remote has great range (over 20 feet). The blue back lit screen is nice at night time. Great price and value, would have given 5 stars if the receiver box was better quality.

Poor LCD Control
The remote is nice in appearance and installs easily. The LCD touchscreen is crap. Cannot activate the timer or set the clock. When I press the screen a bunch of numbers barely flash for a second then disappear. Cannot use the clock or timer features. The rest of the remote seems to work well but there are better remote controls for half the price. Would not buy this again
