BEST PREMIUM PRO CONTROLLER ON THE MARKET!
* 1st Edit after owning for 1 week. (10/18) ** 2nd edit after owning since October (11/26 as of typing this) *** 3rd Edit (12/17) **** 4th Edit (4/16) **** Nothing negative has come around from using this controller. I just urge you to clean the thumbsticks with the included cloth after every session and this bad boy will last you a lifetime *** I've tested its wireless capabilities and its blown my socks off! No input delay whatsoever and the battery life can last quite a while! i have noticed that the PS5 can get a bit heated depending on the game you play (TO BE FAIR ITS ONLY HAPPENED TO ME ONCE) and the USB receiver can get too hot and shut off. I just let it cool down and re-inserted it in the port on the back of my console and it worked flawless again. I read a comment similar to this somewhere down the list. I still highly recommend this to ANYONE looking for a PRO controller that is not the Duelsense Edge Pro. I had a friend get one of those recently and they already went through at least half a dozen modules in a single year. Get this instead. The magnetic joysticks are absolutely something worth trying. THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE so fine tune it through the app + whatever game you decide to use this controller on to REALLY get it perfect to your playstyle. There is a night and day difference in the feel and weight compared to a standard Duelsense controller or any controller for that matter. ** Absolutely phenomenal piece of equipment! Still have zero complaints about this. The battery life is great. Played it wirelessly for about 5 different gaming sessions all being about 4 hours each. 20 hours in and still no reason to charge! I haven't used the mic adapter as i use a wireless steel series headset but i hear its amazing especially with the built in voice control panel on the back of the controller. I've made a few profiles on the app and its seamless to transition between sets say GTA V, COD, Fortnite, and Minecraft. All being absolutely perfect! Dead zones are holding strong and the trigger stops are a game changer! Just get the dagum controller already! Scope out for any online deals as amazon does that from time to time. I managed to snag one when it was 125 and that's without prime or anythng extra. *The quality and feel is phenomenal! Well worth the investment, id keep checking the price around the holidays as you can get it at a pretty hearty discount. I use the included cleaning cloth to wipe away any grime or debris after my gaming sessions. I got to mess with the full customization using the web based app. It works on both mac and Windows but you got to find a work around via reddit to get it to work with Mac unless you're tec savvy. Mac recognizes the program as malicious so you gotta tell it otherwise lol. The app for the computer is amazing and you can really fine tune your preferences and such. Absolutely still a 1000000000/10 controller So far I love this thing! I’ve been using the standard Duelsense controller from the box till it has massive stick issues. So I bought a dark camo one from my local game shop. The controller itself was fine but I added some custom paddles till those failed on me (ribbon ripped somehow) So I bought this to hopefully get everything straightened out, and thankfully it did! The software is a learning curve but nothing too impossible! All the different things you can do to this thing is perfect! A fine price of engineering!!! Loving this premium feel of everything! This is my 3rd day owning this and I intend on making this last for YEARS! The last pro controller I owned was an Astro C40 TR for the ps4 and my face button’s broke on me after the silicone broke inside and left with no other option but to use it as a paperweight Pros: * All 4 Paddles feel and sound like mouse clicks. If that's your thang, then this is perfect * All the accessories that it comes with is perfect. The additional weights, the thumbstick risers, concave and raised are a premium feel. I haven't yet put on Kontrol Freaks as of yet but these in my opinion do better! * There is some metal rings you can attach to the thumbstick that reduce its travel distance to give you more of a precision edge in lets say FPS games (Call of Duty like shooters) and it WORKS * The premium rubber/textured plastic that surrounds the controller feels absolutely wonderful in the hand especially if you have some sweaty hands, this is the perfect feel and grip for you and just about anyone else who wants a premium feel. * The software is amazing and id recommend taking time to setting up and fine-tuning your fine piece of equipment to your tailored liking as it WILL be different than a standard Duelsense Edge or regular Duelsense controller due to the Magnetic Thumbsticks. The Cons (if there is any) * The only gripe that i think others wont enjoy is that YOU WILL NOT HAVE VIBRATION/RUMBLE WHEN PLAYING PS5 GAMES. If this is a dealbreaker, i say just deal with it because you will grow to love EVERYTHING else about this controller. * You cannot play PS5 games with the PS4 setting turned on and vice versa. There is no workaround as this is in fact a 3rd party controller at the end of the day but that's a Sony issue, not Nacon. If you can look past the rumble/vibration and the limitations of the controller (that i listed), then this is the PERFECT controller. I have some friends that will attest to me that they had their controller last them 6+ years!! If you're still reading this then go ahead and buy it! I got this when i was looking at a Duelsense Edge pro controller and im SOOO glad i got this instead! If you’re still reading, I’d buy this pronto! What are you waiting for!?!?

Tired of stick drift? Get this!!!!
I was tired of replacing my Sony controllers every year or so when eventually stick drift made games unplayable. I researched a few options and Hall-effect sticks seemed the best. The Nacon was more expensive than Sony but offered Hall-effect and many customizing features I wanted, so I ordered one. The product was delivered in very nice packaging inside a secure box. The controller feels solid with no flex or creaking. You can adjust the weight, the stick thickness, and thumb pads to make the device very comfortable. Then you can connect the controller to a PC with their software to customize the stick and trigger sensitivity into a unique profile - with four different profiles saved onto the controller. Each can be assigned a light pattern around the right stick for quick identification. Easily switch profiles in-game with a button press. All buttons can be reconfigured or duplicated, and after two years I’ve never had it glitch. I love this controller. The Hall-effect joysticks are smooth and DO NOT DRIFT! The unit is slightly bigger than OEM, with textured rubberized grips and pull-adjustable triggers. I have adult-sized hands and the fit means no cramping after hours of gaming. Making changes to stick sensitivity zones, trigger sensitivity, changing weights or thumb pads - anything you want - takes only moments. It is well-designed and solid. I was able to create profiles for FPS games which immediately improved my gameplay and K/D ratio. This controller is asymmetric like XBox ones - the left stick is outside and the D-pad inside - which took a few minutes to get used to. But it allows your right thumb access to the D-pad, which can occasionally be a big advantage. It has many more buttons which can be individually configured. I have my right trigger mirrored on my left grip in one profile so the right hand only has to focus on the stick, while the left ring & little fingers pull the trigger. There are a couple downsides, the biggest being Sony’s blocking other manufacturers from enabling vibration functions - so on a PS5 there is no haptic feedback. This could be a problem if you rely on vibration for hit-markers. The controller does have vibration, so hopefully Sony will start licensing its use. It also requires a USB dongle to connect, so can’t be used to power the PS5 on. My TV’s HDMI connection does the job, but it is a little annoying. The battery life is phenomenal, at least 9-10 hours of gaming before it gets low. Sound quality through the controller to headphones is equal to OEM with no lag or distortion. Buttons click smoothly and quietly. The sticks - OMG what a difference!!! I can set the center zone for very slow movement, then shift to higher response towards the outside. The feel is smooth and after 2 years I still have no drift. None! What a joy to never worry about fine control in active situations. My teammates were getting tired of me occasionally saying how much I loved this thing. Then one of them bit the bullet and got one of his own. He loved it, too, and we started comparing settings in chat. Now all 5 of us play with them. Combat is easier, shots are made more quickly and accurately, and as a team we have advanced since the transition. TLDR - this controller is an immediate and impactful upgrade from OEM, functions very well, and has survived two years of constant gaming with no obvious wear - and NO STICK DRIFT!

Tired of stick drift? Try stick stuck!
I was excited to getting a new controller with so many extra features over the standard PS5 controller. I had no idea of the "feature" I was truly missing out on. Ever wanted to make your character spin until the game makes them vomit? You're in luck! With the NACON Revolution 5 Pro, you just might achieve this accolade. While this may not be the intended outcome of this product, it does give insight into their quality control. Perhaps one would think my controller issue is an outlier. They would be wrong. There are numerous videos of this product with "stick stuck" that caught my attention, unfortunately after I purchased and received this controller. Recommendation: Stay away from companies with poor quality control, especially NACON.

Only Controller You will Ever Need
The NACON Revolution 5 Pro Controller feels like a serious upgrade over standard controllers in terms of customization and build quality, but it also comes with a learning curve and a few quirks. In-hand feel is solid — it’s heavier than a typical controller, which makes it feel more “pro-level,” though that won’t be for everyone. The grip is comfortable for longer sessions, and the button response feels precise once you get used to it. The biggest strength is customization. You can adjust profiles, sensitivity, and mapping in ways most standard controllers don’t allow, which is great if you’re into competitive gaming or like fine-tuning your setup. On the downside, setup and software configuration can feel a bit overcomplicated at first. It’s not something you just plug in and instantly master — you’ll likely need some time to dial in settings that feel right. Battery life is decent, and connection stability has been reliable so far, but I did notice it’s more sensitive to configuration changes than simpler controllers. Overall, it’s a strong option for serious players who want customization and performance, but probably overkill if you just want a simple, pick-up-and-play controller.

Ergonomics of an Xbox, Innovation of PS on steroids
TL;DR: bought for PS5 •Feels like playing with an Xbox controller (which is loved) •A lot of customization options on controller itself, but not through Playstation settings •Extra buttons that feel as though they can be beneficial for more control-demanding games (looking at you, Elite: Dangerous) •Minimalistic light bars around controller as well to give clues as to what you've given it (I.e. the sides of the touch pad glow red to show you've muted yourself) •Loose feeling sticks, but haven't had stick drift problems •Taller sticks make it feel more precise, downside is need to have longer motion for faster movement •It HAS to take up a USB-A slot (down side for me, personally) 4/5, feels like a controller on steroids that needs a bit of space as well. Long Version: I've always said, Xbox has the ergonomics, Playstation has the innovation. This combines both and then some with how the setup can be done from the weight of the sticks themselves, to the button layout for more intuitive games out there. I've yet to have seen a controller have little short-stoppers built within so triggers can be half squeezed. But this is my first type of higher-end controller so take that with inexperience. It can work in both wired and wireless. The only downside to that, is both have to be plugged into the USB-A port because Playstation will not recognize the controller itself. The wireless part comes into action with a USB stick. This is a downside for me only because I had a microphone plugged in there. 'Why not use your headset one?' Well 1, thanks for assuming I have a headset. You're right, I do, but the mic wasn't all that great. And 2, the microphone plugged into the USB-A sounded a lot better, thank you. I play in a dark room so the controller tends to be rather bright. When first activated, the light up ring on the right stick will be rather bright. I tried to go into settings to turn it low on the Playstation menu, but thats when I realized it doesn't notice the controller at all. So now I have the ring as a red color to be less intrusive on the eyes (flick a switch in the front of the controller for that to happen) I haven't ran into stick drift problems so far. And the way the sticks feel with their height is actually rather nice, and may take a moment to get use to. When first starting to play out a game, I've notice how slow the character can turn with some precision I haven't really noticed before. Yet when fully flicking to the left brings it back to whatever sensitivity setting you gave it before hand, which can make some situations feel awkward at first the reason being that you'll have to find that sweet spot of not moving the stick to little, nor too much. Buttons are also a lot closer. Another thing to get a bit use to because there's a chance of pushing two at the same time. Or even one of the buttons on the handles of the controller as well. Which can be funny at times because here I am attempting to pull out another weapon and as I push one button to do so, I grip the controller a bit too much, press the handle button, and make my character jump as well. It's small things that you'll have to get use to which will happen over time. Worth the money? Hell yeah. Why 4's if it's so good? Because it has to have its own support to be recognized by the console instead of just connecting like how all the other wireless controllers Sony makes do. I remember being able to push the PS button on the controller and the console turns on. It became a big habit, now I gotta go to the PS console itself to turn it on, and then the controller. But with how nice this thing feels? I'll take it.

Amazing Controller – My Son Loves It
NACON Revolution 5 Pro Officially Licensed PlayStation Wireless Gaming Controller for PS5 is a fantastic controller for serious gaming. The build quality feels really solid and the customization options make it stand out from standard controllers. The buttons are responsive, and the grip makes it comfortable to use for long gaming sessions. My son absolutely loves it and says it makes his games feel smoother and more precise. He was excited to try all the different settings and features, and now it’s his favorite controller to use with his PS5. If you have a gamer in the house who wants something a little more advanced than the standard controller, this is definitely a great option.

Incredibly frustrating experience with the customization and app.
The controller is great. There is no mobile app. No app on the ps5. And the Mac version of the app just won’t let you open it. Then when you bootcamp your Mac to run windows that app gives you internal server connection issues. Build quality is holding up well in the face of a lot of playtime. The Hall effect sticks feel a little weird, like the tension of them has a built in exponential response curve but I’ve gotten used to it. The back buttons are good. Idk. I’ve tried a bunch of different pro controllers. This one is like the Toyota Camry of them. It could use improvements but the core features are there and they work reliably. The software bit, the inability to turn the console on with the remote, the need to flip a switch and use a dongle for Bluetooth mode. Those little things are incredibly annoying for a supposedly officially best buddies with Sony type deal. Third party mod controllers do that stuff better, they just don’t have the manufacturing resources to make quality hardware.

Crazy smooth
This is the second one of these that we have purchased and just like the first one we love it. Highly recommend getting one. The joysticks are crazy smooth and the extras buttons are fantastic. Did have some connectivity issues but we stood the ps5 up and those went away.
