Brilliant.
As a first time tripod user and a total amateur when it comes to photography, I wanted a tripod that would make my product photography easier and less shaky than holding the camera myself. This has proven to be terrific value for money and has helped improve my photos enormously. There are loads of features that make adjusting the height/angle of the camera really easy, that, once locked in, holds very firmly too. The locking mechanism for the camera on the base feels really sturdy, and I feel very confident using it that my camera is safe. None of the locking mechanisms are overly complicated and the whole set up process feels very intuitive. Has a nice weight to it, but isn't too heavy, comes in a nice case and packs away quickly. I don't have much to compare with, but for a beginner this has been absolutely brilliant and excellent value for money.

Quality for price
For the price this product is probably unbeatable on quality. I use it with my Canon SX50 HS as a quick and cheap tripod. It can go very tall and very short and seems quite strong for its light weight body. If you use it correctly and tighten all the bits up; it's quite steady also. Not as steady as a £100 tripod; but steady enough for some good shots. I've used this product to take a 15 sec exposure picture of night sky @ ISO 80 and have acceptable results if I use a 2 second self timer to make sure body is steady. Quick release base! on a tripod this cheap and steady; I love this base! Negative point: the spirit level's are utter pants. Don't rely on them. The 360 degree one is just not at all working on mine and the horizontal one seems to be a bit off. My Canon SX50 has built in on screen level so doesn't bother me that much but has lost a star because its such a cheap thing to get wrong. It has 2 levels and both on mine are off or not working. 1 star for strength, 1 star for steadiness, 1 star for price, 1 star for weight, 1 star for overall satisfaction, -1 star for slight defects.

Amazing tripod
Firstly, can I say fantastic customer service regarding this product. I purchased through a marketplace seller - George and Freddie. It came days before expected. The tripod had some damage to one of the feet which meant it was jammed when I got it, but I managed to get it free and contacted them straight away. After running some home tests, I found no issue with the tripod itself and they provided me with a partial refund to compensate the damage. Getting replies within 5 minutes which were polite and considerate shows some great customer service here. Now to the tripod itself. It got damaged in the post, so I'm not too worried about that. It doesn't affect its stability and now it's been freed, it has no issues extending and collapsing. It has two spirit levels (one I missed entirely for about 20 minutes) which are great for ensuring everything is perfectly straight. As there were concerns regarding the foot, I started loading the top with some books. The tripod seems very sturdy and strong and I have since used it with my camera without issue. I have a Canon EOS 1100D and have found no problems with stability. With longer lenses, I recommend ensuring the lens is out over one of the legs for maximum stability, and it may wobble a little with some of the telephotos around. Also, liek with most tripods, using the central column isn't as steady as when just using the legs to extend, though my OH is quite tall and has found that half opening the central column has no issues - it's just fully open where there are some wobbles. I'm quite short so need never worry about that :p However, I feel it is an excellent product. I would have paid the full £42 for something this stable and secure. But getting it for less than a tenner is a steal. It is nice and lightweight and it's collapsed size, is a nice carrying size. I like the way it feels with the camera and how adjustable it is. I don't know how people are saying the legs have come off unless they are really yanking them out, as when I was unsticking the leg, it required a lot of force and when it pulled out it did so with considerable force, yet it hasn't broken. I think some people are deliberately trying to break it. It's also nicely adjustable and the panning action is very smooth, I find. The two tilts are less smooth, but if you loosen the screws enough they don't stick. I mainly use it for photos so this is unnecessary and the only videos I do, I use the panning adjustment. Brilliant tripod and I can't recommend it enough. I have looked at far more expensive ones for when I could afford them, but this is, in my opinion, on par with them EDIT: I have since taken this tripod out in rather windy weather. It didn't shake in the wind and I still got nice crisp photos. When the wind got strong enough to make me unsteady, it did wobble, but what chance did a tripod have against a wind that was strong enough to move a person? I weighted it down with the hook and it was fine from there. Even happier than I was before

For the price it is fine but it is not built well
This tripod comes with a lot of great features that will help you with your photography. For instance, you have the levels, not one but two levels so you can balance out your image for those difficult shots. You can also twist and turn the tripod head enough to get different angular shots if the level isn't required. It is lightweight too, which adds to the portability but it is not short when closed. It is about 60 centimetres long which takes away from portability. If you wish to take the tripod for long journeys this needs to be considered. A bag is provided for the tripod but this doesn't eliminate the size or the weight. Considering the weight, the little hook can be used for added stability. Finally, the build quality is questionable. Some may say at this point, what do you expect from this price. Well I do expect it to last a while. I got one tripod and it didn't last beyond the first use. So, be careful when using it. So in summary, it is a great tripod but if you want the time out of it, look after it. It could last a long time if you take care of it. it needs the same kind of care and use as you would with a toddler. For this price it works well. I doubt it will be useful in moderate wind speeds so consider this as well. It is a tripod for the casual user in relaxed conditions that being said I cannot remove from the benefits this has to offer at such a price but its problems are more than cosmetic. I personally got a second tripod which has been fine since but I have barely used it.
