Intermittent USB connection
I've had problems with the device disconnecting on both my laptop and desktop. Found that moving the USB drive while it's plugged in causes it to disconnect, moving it again and it will reconnect. Comparing the contacts inside the drive to other flash drives, it looks like these are more recessed. Update: Suspected oxidation on the contacts, so used an old USB hub (disconnected from PC) to continuously plug/unplug the flash drive for a while, then used canned air to clean out any dust. This seems to have cleaned the contacts and now the drive is making a good connection. I do like the drive for its bright red light showing power and activity, so raised my rating from 3 to 4.
