A good piece of extra security to go along with my wheel clamp. I wouldn’t rely on this alone though to stop any thief. Installation so easy.

Good and easy to fit and remove but quite a small lock and key so likely easily picked and I wouldn’t say it’s high security. It is ideal for our little camping trailer when on site but bare in mind a determined thief could simply remove the hitch with a spanner instead. The hitch lock can fit both ways around but as the steel hoop is closer to one end than the other it’s best closer to the trailer to make it more secure on the hitch. Not made of hardened steel so could be cut fairly easily.

For the money you pay for this hitch lock you just can't go wrong. It's as good as any of the other brands out there but it is probably one of the cheapest. Fits straight into the hitch with no fuss, the lock works perfectly with no faffing around & it's straight forward to operate. Glad I bought it.

Needed an extra hitch-lock to help secure my trailer when not in use, this is a solid, well made lock - feels sturdy and I imagine would take a lot of effort to cut through. Should do the job of deterring a casual thief, which is all you want from a hitch lock. Easy to put on and take off.

Had this about 6 months now, it does the job, mostly. Might just be my trailer hitch, but it doesn't fit very tight, the ball seems to be much smaller than the ball on the car's tow bar. I think that a determined thief could burst it off, so more a deterrent than a real security device. Also the chromed locking bar has started to rust and look very tatty, of course my trailer is outside, but then again if it was in a garage why would you want a lock ??
