Excellent Articulating Borescope.
The Two-Way Articulating Borescope (ASIN B0C33972K5) from Anykit came complete with protective storage/carrying case, screen wipes, USB-C charging cable and manual. Fit and finish are superb, and plastics used are excellent. View screen is crisp, clear and easy to read, and operation is intuitive. For anyone that's used a plain borescope (non-articulating), having the ability to articulate is a game changer. No more time wasted trying to direct the scope around a turn or obstruction. Simple twist the control knob on the scope and it'll bend allowing you to carry on. I wish I had picked this up sooner. Mind you, my original borescope worked wonderful, but as noted, the ability to guide the scope with relative ease was based partially on luck. Having access to articulation, I can confidently say I will never go back to a scope without. Unit charges quickly, is relatively waterproof (IP67) and battery life is very good. Did I mention it's feature packed? That said, I only have two minor quibbles. 1) I wish the scope was a touch longer, and 2) more importantly, I wish it offered better LED brightness control. Sure, there's 6 levels of brightness, but each seems to be a "step" with a relatively large jump in between. Plenty bright, however, the challenge comes when you're trying to operate in "dim" while working around reflective surfaces, and/or if you're quite close to an object you wish to view, but don't have the ability to back away further (and keep your target in view). Ultimately, I found there are moments when the light is either too bright or off. Instead of "steps" of brightness it would be much better if the brightness would gradually "fade" the way an incandescent bulb does with a standard dimmer. The lighting in this unit acts more like an old tri-bulb. Bright, brighter, brightest, off, etc. Not a deal breaker by any stretch, just pointing out an opportunity to do better. Of course, your mileage may vary. I hope you found this review enlightening and/or helpful to your decision making.

Lens fogged and is now unusable
The wand is advertised as being waterproof. The ad says “ Waterproof Gooseneck Borescopes- The articulated snake camera with 6 led light is IP67 waterproof allows for rainy and humid environments.”. This is not true. I used mine around water once and now the lens is fogged and unusable and I see no way to dry it out. It has been a couple months since this happened and it is still fogged. $400 down the drain. Have your money and buy a brand that doesn’t advertise falsely.

A little expensive for what you get
So this camera isn’t bad. But I feel like it should cost about half of what it does. Considering that the three camera models are all over the place now would you like you to see on either side as well as in front. There’s also cameras with higher resolution. The screen is not the largest you would find on a borescope like this. But it’s not bad and it’s certainly vivid enough. But it can still be difficult to make out details. Especially when you’re trying to orient and see exactly what you’re looking at. The build quality is it’s good with a decent fit and finish. This is a big camera that seems to be more suited for commercial or industrial use. Don’t expect this to fit in the every nook and cranny. The cable to the camera is pretty thick even though it narrows down when you get to the tip. This is advertised as a two-way camera but that’s a little bit misleading. It only moves along a single axis, so it’s really a one-way camera. You can move it left or right. Depending on the orientation of the cable. You could also say top and bottom. But whichever way you’re moving it you’re not able to turn it on the axis that is 90° from that. I’m not sure if I’m making myself clear. The camera just moves in one plane. And it is very difficult to rotate the entire cable if you need to change the orientation of the camera. Where you put it in is going to be how it moves. Contrast this to other cameras which allow movement on to access is which means you can do left right and up and down. This will only let you do left and right OR up and down and you’re not really sure which one that is as it is dependent on the orientation of the cable. Now the camera will go a full 180° in those directions so if you turn the lever it will do a U-turn and look back along its own links. It’s a little bit cooler to actually watch the camera doing that then it is to watch the image from the screen. It’s quite easy to disorient yourself. I would describe this is a three star camera because between the just OK image quality and the limited movement, you’re not really getting your moneys worth I think. I have another borescope it seems to have a much cleaner and sharper picture. But I’m going ahead and giving this four stars because the bill quality is really nice, it comes with a protective case, and it just seems better than a three star item, but I think I would look at a different version that allows me to move the camera more flexibly if that’s what I’m looking for. It would’ve been incredibly cool if you could change the axis of movement while the camera was deployed. I’m not exactly sure how that would work. But I guess it would mean having another control to rotate the head Long it’s axis which would give you a full freedom of movement with a Camera lens.
