Slide them on!!!
I was so nervous buying these (i bought a right and a left one) because of the negative reviews but for the price, I thought I’d give it a go. I called OMIX today to ask the best way to install these and they told me to slide them on. They worked like a charm! They’re a little tight but they slid on and I got the tailgate bar to slide in the groves easily. I needed no tools but my hands :)

Great Quality Replacement Part
Exactly the piece I needed for my soft top. When I bought my Jeep, it came with the soft and hard top. Unfortunately the soft top was missing a lot of hardware, including this little guy. Without this clamp, and the other side which I also purchased, my back end was constantly getting wet inside without this clamp. After receiving both parts, it is now completely sealed and free from water. Great Quality Part, Easy To Install.

Fit just like the original one!
It is a good product and fit just like the original piece. Hopefully won't need another!

Very brittle and May break during install
These are junk. And I say that knowing that most people don’t understand what I’m about to say. The factory ones are flexible. So when they go to snap on the back of the Jeep, they flex and then snap in. These replacements are very brittle. Two of them broke. Both of them for the left side of the Jeep. Thank God I ordered four of them two for each side and I ended up having to cut one to make it work on the left side just so I could use my Jeep. Just go to the factory and buy a replacement. I didn’t even bother to send them back for four dollars apiece. I guess you get what you pay for.
