I have been using this to recharge my Remington Shortcut Hair Clipper. The timer helps to make sure I do not overcharge the battery. My only dislike is the LED light goes off after ~ 30 seconds after starting a charge, so at first it seems like the timer has turned off. This is a very small dislike and not a big deal once I got used to it.

It’s the best timer I’ve used!
Works great and is super easy to use. The dial timers bug me.. I don’t really know why.. you set it and you’re never 100% sure it’s good to go.. with this one though there’s no worries. I’m happy with my purchase.

May be upside down on your outlet
I thought the angled panel would be handy but my bath GFCI outlet has the ground pin on top, meaning this sits upside down with the control panel sloping downward. Very inconvenient. Tested it. It does work. Got it for controlling a 750 watt water distiller. Just be sure your chosen use is with an extension cord or outlet that has the ground pin on the bottom, not the top. Be sure there is room for your device's power cord protruding to the side of the timer. Also noticed this device gets warm to the touch when not being used, meaning it can waste power if you leave it plugged in year around. This is not an issue in winter when waste heat is inside the home where it has value.

very quite timer, simple to program.
It is a very quite timer. The old clock motor timers all seem to get noisy after a few years. Since this is not a motor, I assume it will stay quite. I have not figure out how to get 5 hours. I was hoping you could push the 1 hours and 4 hour button at the same time to get 5hours. but I think only the single presets work by themself. So I will have to settle for the 2 hour. 4 hour, or 8 hours time for a night timers.

Defective
Didn't work and I missed return window. Shorted itself out as soon as I plugged it in.

works great, very convenient
I have it on a tumbler in the garage that I need to run for x amount of time, and on occasion, I forgot to turn it off. With this, I can just push the time I want it to run, and forget about it. The only thing I wish, is that the time amounts were lit up instead of just a blank LED above the button, because it is a little hard to read the time each button will run with the low light in my garage.
