Logitech Nintendo DS Lite PlayGear Pocket

I have 3 boys, 3 Nintendo DS lites, and now 3 Logitech PlayGear Pockets. I initially only bought one of these, because two of my sons bought their DS lites with an accessory package that came with a plain crystal play-in case. After this arrived, they all liked it so much that we bought 2 more.This case can also be used as a play-in case as everything is accessible with the DS lite still in it and the lid open.The outer shell is a clear, hard, durable plastic. There is an inner rubber lining that provides the DS lite with a little better shock protection if dropped. There are recesses in the inner rubber lining of the lid that are made for holding up to 4 DS games. The rubber lining is removable so that the case can be customized by placing cut out images/pictures/stickers/etc under the lining that can then be seen through the outer plastic. To make it easy, it comes with plastic templates for tracing the outline of a picture you want to cut out to put in the case.It is only a little bulkier than the plain crystal play-in cases, but to me, that's a good thing because it makes holding the DS lite more comfortable for long periods of time. These cases also provide much better shock and crush protection (good if you're going to toss it into a backpack or other soft sided bag) as opposed to the plain crystal cases that really only provide good scratch protection. I don't know if I'd pay the retail price of $20.00 for these, but we got them shipped for about $3.00 each, which is a steal.I've uploaded user pictures to give a better idea of what it looks like.

This a great case and included a deluxe kit for making your templates for cover. I wish kid didn't have to take the machine out of it to play.

This case is great for my 6 year old. We have an under 2 year old who is into everything. She can't get into this case. We like the fact that you can customize the case. You can charge your DS while it's in the case, and you can play it while it's in the case if you want. Offers good protection. It does have a place to store 4 games, but the slots are a little loose. Overall it's a great case.I wanted to update my review, we have now owned this case for some time, it's still holding up great. We have updated the cover a few times, and it's still too tough for my toddler to get into. I was surprised at how well it's held up. And the price is great, I definately recommend.

If you are looking for an "armor" shell for your DS Lite, this is NOT the product. I thought this was similar to the nerf-type armor our older son has for his DS. It attaches to the DS at the bottom, the same way armor does. The difference is that the top portion of the case does not attach in any way to the top screen of the DS. They open separately and it hangs way off the back. The result is a very bulky, awkward-to-hold game system. We also found it very difficult to open. This would make a good travel case, but if you are looking for something that attaches to both the top and bottom of the DS and acts as an extension of it, this is NOT the product. Just go with the nerf.

My 8 y.o. picked apart her nerf case (remember the old nerf balls that always ended up with big gouges and chunks missing from them?) so I wanted to find a different case that might last longer yet still afford some protection if she drops it.I've been happier than I expected with this logitech case. It feels quite durable with a hard outer shell structure and a softer rubbery cushion within. The base of the game fits snugly into the rubber casing, yet the top of the case is looser, so you can open the case and the game unit stays closed, giving you access to an area that snugly holds 4 game cartridges. An added advantage to this is that you can use the outer hard case to prop up your game while playing (see the picture I uploaded of my daughter playing with it propped onto her legs to see what I mean). You can also put pictures in-between the hard outer shell and the inner rubber and they even give you cut out templates in the right shape to help you do this.Having 4 additional games besides the one in the active play slot has been great for travel and even just around the house. My daughter actually puts them into the slots when changing games and I no longer find the little cartridges left in various places around the house (we've lost a few of them due to this problem already).Benefits:1. Securely holds and protects game unit2. Has extra storage for 4 additional game cartridges3. Can be used to prop up your game at different angles4. Can be "decorated" any way you want and it is easy to change your decorations when desired5. Great for kids and adults alike6. Not overly bulky despite featuresDownside:The only negative I've found is that because the top is so adjustable, you have to align the top and bottom just right in order for it to latch closed. A younger child might have a problem (or lack of patience) doing this.

Product specifications they said serving for Nintendo DSI, but when I tried to place is very small, I could not use it, unfortunately I lost my money

If you have a Nintendo DS Lite, then this case is a must-have. I bought this case for both of my children's Nintendo DS Lite's and it has been a life-saver on so many occasions. If we didn't have the case, their DS would surely be broken by now. Besides it's protective features, one of the things that I love about this game case is that you can still play the game while it is inside the case. You can even charge it without having to remove the DS from the case, which is a huge plus. The case also allows you to hold up to 4 game cartridges and it customizable. The white top part can be pulled out so that you can put in your own picture, which my kids absolutely loved. It also made their cases distinguishable from each other. All in all, if you have a DS Lite, then you need this!
