Tight seal and no spillage in your car!
Gas cans with spouts tend to leak in your car and you know what that means. It's hard to get that smell out!!! With these caps they will not leak at all in your car and create the mess!! I also siphon my gas into my boat so I don't need The stupid filler hoses that leak all over the place! Just put your 5 gallon hose on top of your pontoon boat. Put a siphon in and run it into your gas opening! No mess, no muss or leakage. These caps seem to be standard size also. Definitely would buy again!

Gaskets SHRINK over time!!! AVOID THIS ITEM
I loved these AT FIRST, though some wouldn't seal well on some of my cans... but I just rotated out some stored gas where I had used these and the gaskets shrunk SIGNIFICANTLY and no longer seal!!!

Working well with a good seal.
Used one so far to replace the original lid and filler tube on a 2gal gas can. Plan to do the same on another 2gal and a 5gal can. I'm using a better filler tube and need to replace the original lids.
