Great quality potting mix
I used this cacti and succulent potting mix to replant several of my succulents, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. The texture is exactly what my plants need — light, airy, and fast-draining, with no clumping or holding excess moisture. The mix had the perfect blend of grit, sand, and soil to prevent root rot and keep the plants’ roots healthy. Repotting was really easy because the mix stays loose and workable, and it settles nicely around the roots without compacting. A great-quality potting mix that feels tailored specifically to cacti and succulents.

Fabulous Cacti compost
I bought this 4L bag for £5 as I desperately needed to repot my cacti and succulents after a few years. I liked that it was a handy, smaller sized bag as due to disability I struggle with holding/ managing heavier loads. Having never bought cacti compost before I wasn't sure what to expect tbh. I had read recently what was required in a garden magazine and the bag displayed all the needs plus seramis for hydration. Originally I had potted the cacti in normal multi purpose compost, what a bad idea. They had failed to grow or thrive and on removing the compost had just collected and stuck around the roots so tightly, it was as dry as old bones. Opening this new cacti compost I immediately saw there was a different mix of ingredients to help with drainage and hydration. There wasn't too much grit and large stones, the compost element was fluffy and dark which I feel is a good sign. The texture felt nice to handle and had a pleasant soil healthy smell. Thinking I wouldn't have enough I bought another bag of a different well known cacti compost from the local garden centre while I was there one day as a back up. I did have to end up using it as I ran out of this first one, I had more pots than I realised. Comparing the two - the one off amazon was by far the winner! The back up bag was bloody awful and I have binned it, a whole 8L bag!! For a fiver, im very pleased with the amount of potting mix, size of the bag and feel it is good value for my money. I reported probably 4 medium/ large sized pots before I ran out. Obviously it will depend on your pot sizes. The price has since gone up by about £1.50, which still in my opinion isn't too expensive especially as I'm pleased with the quality compared to another well known brand. I will be buying more when I need it that's for sure. My plants seem happier, it's only been a few days so I'm probably imagining it and willing them to be better really, haha.

Happy plants but sad wallet
Good quality, happy cacti and succulents. Good drainage and the roots get air too so less likely to rot! Just note 4L isn't a big pack so it may not last long.

Excellent Cacti Potting Mix for Healthy, Fast-Growing Plants
I've been using this cactus potting mix for several plants over the past few months, and it’s been fantastic. The photo shows a plant I propagated from a cutting a couple of months ago—it's still healthy and growing strong, even through the colder months. The mix drains well, yet retains just the right amount of moisture. I keep the plant near a window where it gets plenty of morning and afternoon sun, and it absolutely thrives there. No issues whatsoever with pests or mold. What impresses me most is how well this mix supports growth—my cacti have been thriving faster and healthier than ever. It’s even worked wonders for some of my other houseplants, making it a great all-around choice. Highly recommended!

Trusted, Nutrient-Dense Soil for Cacti Enthusiasts
I wanted to repot my cacti and chose this soil from a trusted brand, as I’m less confident with succulents and cacti. The soil is nutrient-dense and will support the plants for a long time, meaning I won’t need to repot or add plant food for a while. I appreciated the smaller bag size to avoid waste. The soil is denser than standard houseplant mixes (as expected for cacti), and while the sand isn’t very noticeable, the texture works well. The packaging includes detailed infographics and instructions for various uses, such as cuttings and seedlings. I filled 10–12 small and medium pots with it. Pros: • Trusted brand with nutrient-dense soil • Ideal density for cacti and succulents • Suitable for various plant forms (cuttings, seedlings, etc.) • Helpful, easy-to-follow instructions and tips on the bag • Compact size avoids waste Cons: • Sand isn’t noticeable, which may not suit all preferences • Relatively small amount for the price

So far, very good!
Early days so it's a bit tricky to review. My plants were in a miserable state, they haven't liked winter and I think I've over watered. This compost has good reviews so I gave it a try. It's a small bag, so if it hadn't been great, it wouldn't have been a waste of too much money. The compost looks and feels clean and fresh. It has that fibrous feel that succulents from garden centres usually have (so hopefully it's what mine need!). I managed to report four plants with a bit left over, two medium sized and two small. I've ordered another bag to do a couple more plants. It's very early days, but one plant perked up with two days, and looks much healthier. Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.
