This thing is awesome! I had problems with my foot control and thought I would try the remote. Easy set up and pair then it was 3 hours of shooting without a single issue. I was not limited to the length of the pedal cable and could move to any position to shoot from.

This is a huge upgrade from the foot pedal, which you have to hold all the way through the cycle and release before the next one flings out. It's a real pain to get your footing back and fire on target using the pedal. The wireless system is a one-button push, and it completes a full cycle. Binding the TX to the RX was a really simple process and it works flawlessly. I highly recommend it, along with the wobble base. You can upgrade one thing at a time to spread out the cost, but you'll be happier if you can get the clay machine, wireless remote, and wobble in one fell swoop. The whole thing costs a pretty penny, but boy is it worth it! Love this system

This came with my Champion Workhorse and I like it. It is better than the Do-All remote in that it will pair with other champion remotes and receivers so you can run multiple machines. It is a well made unit and has a delay setting that goes from instant launch to 15 second delay. You can pair a remote switch with any receiver as these have a learn function. There are small led lights on the receiver and remote switch to tell you it they are functioning OK. This can be a help when troubleshooting or checking operation although I wish the lights were a bit bigger. They can be hard to see. The one thing I am not happy with is the button on the remote. It is more of a raised bump in the plastic face and has a lousy feel. You are not always sure your actuating the unit and that is a especially a bad thing when you use delay launch. It is also hard to press when wearing shooting gloves.

I love this. No need to stand next to the thrower. Make it like a sporting clay course and throw from a distance.

Works as intended. Fit perfect and worked first shot.

The price is a bit steep for what you get when compared to the price of the Champion Wheelybird Trap Thrower that it's designed to work with, but now that we have it, we just can't imagine NOT using the remote. The range is a bit less than the advertised 100 yards and straight line of sight between the remote and the unit antenna is highly recommended. A few times we found that we had to activate the remote more than once to get the trap to throw, but again we attribute this to range & obstructions. And by obstructions, even high grass and weeds can block the signal. A nice feature of the remote base is being able pair more than one trap thrower to a single remote, and then use the dial timer setting on the base unit to delay one thrower a few seconds after the first one. All in all, we think this remote should be included with all the Champion trap throwers. If you're into shooting clays, this remote is a must-have.

The item arrived in reasonable time considering where it came from. I have used the item and it works great. I will certainly recommend to friends. This is my first purchase with Amazon so I was pretty please with the free postage. The shipping details were a little out of whack but all in all it was a pleasant experience. Thanks.

Understandably shipping took a little while but I just love this remote system! My Wheelybird is 10 years old, 1.0 version so it wasnt going to be just plug and play like the 2.0 or now the new 3.0 version. Still relatively simple and easy enough to wire in a matching 3 prong pigtail to the thrower to be just like the newer versions. Once the 3 prong pigtail adapter was wired to the machine, the remote receiver can be plugged in. (Sounds more difficult than it is). I always liked my Wheelybird, now I just love it!!!! Couldnt be happier! No more dealing with 75 ft of cord, place the thrower where you want and walk to where you wish to shoot from. I did a quick 75 yard measurement and it works flawlessly, I have no doubt 100 yards is feasible. Thank you Champion for another great product!! Easily gets a 5 star rating! The only suggestions I can make is to add the option of purchasing the 3 prong adapter pigtail for the older 1.0 units easier AND how about adding an eyelet on the remote itself to allow a lanyard of choosing. So what I did was put a peel and stick phone tether tab along with a lanyard. Perfect! Thanks again, 2 thumbs up! 5 stars! I now have the Champion Wobbler in route.

Works till now, even with the same battery.

So I have bought two of these for my two Workhorse traps. Amazing! I can now do really long distance shots. I even set up both receivers to accept the one remote signal, and using the delay function on one of the traps, I can press the button on the remote, and in a predetermined 3 seconds, the first trap will shoot, followed by the second trap about a second later, all with one press of the button, and from a good 50 yards away. Cables suck!

This remote has really added to my fun factor shooting clays in the back field. Way better than a 20' foot pedal. I can now actually reposition or even hide the clay thrower without being limited to 20 feet. Wobbler next on the want list.
