Dragon Stew

Yep I bought this twice! Once back when my kids were little & now for a niece. We all loved this book, so much so that my kids begged me not to pass it down, so I bought another to gift— it was an instant hit. I would say it’s perfect for about ages 5-8, but I did have a teen reading it to his brother enjoying the silly story. Doing voices makes it even better!!

We just happened on this book by accident, but it has quickly become my four year old grandson's favorite book. He now requests it every time we read together.And I have to say I'm always glad he chooses it. The story is great fun to read aloud and the illustrations are perfectly wacky. We end up laughing over and over at the same jokes, but that's the beauty of the book. A great find!

How many times have you as a parent heard, "I'm bored" from your kid? Here is what they COULD be up to if they were daring Vikings...hunting dragons! When these Norsemen/women get bored with the other crazy stuff they typically do, they decide to go hunt down a dragon. The illustrations and side comments by the characters are very funny. Good book for boys or girls.

Very cute book, my 3 year olds LOVE it. But, the rhyming scheme is a bit off. It took a couple of reads to get the swing of it . . .

First got book from library and my four year old and I loved it. Just had to buy it! My daughter was so excited when it came in the mail.

This is one of my favorites (for years now). I can more easily handle reading books over and over if they have a nice rhyming rhythm to them. This one takes a read or two to get the rhythm, but it's there! I've since bought Troll, 2, 3, 4 by Steve Smallman as well. (By the way, my daughter likes them as well. ;) )

These were amazing gifts for my grandbabies this last Christmas and for my nieces who have moved away. They ask really enjoyed having a book with their hometown in named in it.

Have givin some of these books in the past. Families Loved them. Giving more out this year. Fun to read books.
