Heavy Duty!
Just got this. Itโs very heavy duty! Well made. The wood handle is smooth and sturdy. Comes with a sharpening stone too!

Good axe, great handle.
I'm happy with the axe. I first used it straight out of the packaging. The axe wasn't super sharp, but not dull either. It took off small branches from the central Texas Cedars and peeled the bark well as shown in the video. I like the handle. The wood is very solid, and the bend or notch in the middle of the handle is great for gripping halfway up and controlling the tool. That mid-grip makes it very easy to use. It's sharpening up well using the block provided. All in all, it's a good tool and value for the price.

Solid hatchet
Haven't had this out camping yet but I've been using it around the house to clear some brush and to split some smaller wood for my smoker. Out of the box it's already very sharp and it has a nice weight and balance.

Nice hatchet
The hatchet itself is great. It's heavy enough to do some real damage and will take a good edge. It has an aggressive look to it that I like. Includes a sharpening stone and a belt loop as well as a sheath. It has a good handle with at least a couple of good grip points. I was disappointed though, that the button to secure the sheath was broken. One side had pulled through the leather. Not a deal breaker for me, just a hassle to deal with.

Nice
versatile and compact hand tool ideal for chopping wood, splitting kindling, and performing small-scale outdoor tasks. With a short handle and a sharp, durable blade, it's perfect for camping, survival kits, or backyard use where a full-sized axe would be too bulky. Many modern hatchets come with ergonomic, non-slip grips and forged steel heads for better control and durability. While it's not meant for heavy-duty logging, its portability and precision make it a reliable tool for hikers, campers, and DIYers alike. A well-balanced hatchet offers excellent utility in a lightweight, easy-to-carry form.

Wonky
The hatchet is a good length and weight for a beginner especially. I like the handle and the overall look and feel of the hatchet, but I am deeply concerned about the bevel and edge. It was reasonably sharp upon arrival, but when I looked down the length of the edge it is twisted. The edge isnโt straight at all! I have taken it to a family blade sharpening business near me figuring if it can be salvaged they are the ones to do it. Maybe I just should have sent it back, but I like the hatchet and really want it. Weโll see I guess. It also comes with a sharpening puck which I found completely useless. It seems to be the same grade on both sides, but it doesnโt actually say anywhere what that is. Is it course? Fine? I assume somewhere in the middle, but Iโm not interested in guessing. Anyway, Iโll try to post an update when I get it back from the sharpener.

Letโs take a hack at it
I was impressed at the quality for the price. I was certain handle would be fake but itโs real wood and built very well.

Sharp and handy
This hatchet is excellent for camping and outdoor use. It feels very solid and well-balanced, and the 1065 carbon steel blade is sharp and handles wood chopping easily. The beech wood handle is comfortable to grip and gives it a classic look. I also like the protective sheath, which makes it easy to carry safely. Itโs compact but powerful โ a great tool for camping, bushcraft, and outdoor adventures. Highly recommended!

Small Axe, Big Ego
Sharp right out of the box, perfectly balanced, and way tougher than it looks. This little hatchet chews through kindling like itโs angry at trees. Solid beech handle, real leather sheath, and zero โcheap toolโ vibes. At this price, it feels illegal (but in a good way). ๐ช๐

Axe
This axe looks to be of high quality and feels substantial in the hand. It also comes with a sharpening stone and a leather sheath. I haven't used it yet as it's very cold outdoors at the moment
