Hobbledehoo Active Childs Harness (7+ Years)

This harness has been a game changer. My 7yr autistic non-verbal nephew loves to run and is very fast. Previously his parents have used wrist harnesses which were fine until he grew too strong and kept breaking them. I bought this harness for them to try as a last resort. It is brilliant, the leash is long enough for him not to feel restricted but stops him going too far. The grab handle on the back enables him to be held close when needed. We weren’t sure he would wear it as he doesn’t like wearing coats, etc fastened over his chest but he accepted this immediately. It is very strong and secure. His parents say it is now a pleasure to go out with him instead of constantly worrying whether his leash will break. Well worth the money.

Got this for my 7 year old who is actually the size of a 10 year old. It fits him perfectly with plenty of room to grow, easy to adjust, the strap is great quality, the holders are ideal of both the back and front, he finds it comfortable. Gives me a huge ease of mind him having this as hes got absolutely no sense of danger around roads, strangers, or anything for that matter (hes a SEN child)

Fab fit! Great quality! Wash and clean well! Look good. The strap being at lower part of the harness is great as doesn't bunch up the neck like other brands. Fits really well. Gives my kids freedom to move in public while being safe. My son absolutely loves his.

I absolutely love hobble de hoo harness! It's absolutely great for my autistic little girl! She has no road sense when it comes to danger and will just keep running anywhere. But this is an absolute life saver! The fact it goes up to a bigger size is absolutely fantastic! It is abit steep on price but it's well worth it!! More than worth it! Best purchase!

It’s a great rein although I wouldn’t recommend it for children with behaviour disorders as it’s not the strongest and snaps when to much force is applied over time!

My son is 7 and Autistic and a strong lad, and if it wasn’t for this strap we’d be completely lost, it’s made things sooo much easier and less stressful. If you are on the fence of getting one, just do it. You’ll not regret it at all… some nicer colours would be nice, but my son had a little freedom to walk now and can’t run off!

Tried to give 5 stars but couldn't for some reasons, my child wears 6-7 clothes this fits and they are not quite at the minimum sizing and I tried it on myself as a adult who wears large t-shirts and it fits lol. The child loves the colour (pink). I am finding the lead clips very stiff I was hoping to be able to clip on and off easily but I'm hoping this will change in time. The harness once fitted is fast and easy to put on and off, the 1.2m lead give my child enough room to explore around me without to much to get on the roads. The handles look like they can take her weight easily but I haven't tested yet I want her full used to the harness first

We purchased this for my 5-year-old grandson who has autism. He elopes and has run across a busy Street before we could catch him. We had a different harness for him, but it was designed for toddlers, so he has outgrown it. This harness is a tad bit big on him, but not so big that we are worried about him slipping out of it easily. It is very sturdy and durable, so I am sure we will be able to use it for many years and it is reassuring to know he has room to grow into it. I highly recommend this harness for anyone who is concerned about the safety of their child in potentially dangerous scenarios.

Great harness and strong, but my child hates to wear it as it’s very hot to wear in summer we live in Australian so it is very hot. Also wish you didn’t have to put it over the head to get on it’s very hard when my child hates anything going over the head. If that’s not a issue for your child than I highly recommend it

I have a 7 year old autistic grandchild who is a runner. We had a scary event, he went running and I could see him the whole time he ran across a street but couldn't stop him or flag cars, I felt helpless. We have only had the harness for a short time. I love it. I can keep him close with the leach (about 2 feet) he can move ahead but I can grab the handle when crossing the street for more control. Best purchase I've ever made for peace of mind.
