Had a lot of heavy traffic dirt and this cleaned it right up leaving a great scent! You do have to do a little scrubbing but not too much!

I got this as an experiment, hoping to make the best of the stained & dusty smelling carpet in our rented home. We followed the instructions, using rags over a bristle brush to rub in the foam, then vacuuming after. We were a little impatient so vacuumed before it was fully dry, which seemed fine. It took 1.5 bottles to cover almost all our living room carpet, we opted for a light coating because it foams up when you scrub. We were pretty pleased with the results; as you can see from the pictures this took out some stains that had been there before we moved in 2 years ago (and had endured multiple professional carpet cleanings). The carpet feels a bit fluffier and nicer, although the pile looks about the same as before. The smell is definitely not "natural" and was sort of chemical at first, but after a few hours it's mostly just a fabric softener smell. Our cat doesn't seem to mind it too much. Update: one week later the strong smell has faded, but the carpet still smells clean and not dusty! Yay.
