Listen..the girls that get it get it. I bought this because I'm a fruity floral LOVER, I saw it was at a really cheap price, beautiful bottle, and the notes were up my alley, so I thought why not try? I read the bad reviews AFTER I ordered it and it made me worried, I almost cancelled my order. I am so glad I didn't. When I opened it up I sprayed it and it was soo strong, I got really worried that I wasted some money on it. I sprayed it out about 10 times and let it sit on my vanity for a few days hoping it would change a little bit. I'm telling you I thought about this perfume the entire time I waited to spray it again, I kept going back and smelling the perfume from the cap. It was almost addictive lol The next time I sprayed it, I was in love. It smells a bit like a tart and sweet rose wine. The rose is heavy in this, but so are those sour fruits. (In a good way in my opinion!!) I sprayed it on my heat points and it's beautiful from opening to dry down. It settles beautifully into my skin chemistry, it becomes a sweet feminine scent perfectly wearable for everyday in the spring and summer. Maybe even early fall. It projects so nicely without choking out a room. This is one of those perfumes I'm constantly smelling myself or when I move I get a beautiful scent and I'm like what smells sooo good, oh it's ME! 🩷 this scent really makes me feel like a princess living my best life.

Got this just the other day, and could smell it from the box because a little had seeped out of the cap and wet the velvet coating on the bottle. The scent was intoxicating. I've never had a perfume pull me in so much to smell it as much as this one. I think smelling it, it should be for a child...sweet strawberry milkshake...but it's much more complex than that, and I love it (and I'm old.) The bottle sat out near me for a day or so, and I just couldn't stop sniffing it. I was afraid the initial attraction to it would go away, or the scent would change, but no, it never did. It surprised me everytime I sniffed it. I think it's ready to go right out of the box...no need to let it sit for months before it's wearable. The sillage is strong, and the staying power is long. Again, on first wear, I just couldn't stop smelling my wrist. I was just amazed at, and trying to decode, the notes I was picking up. Still strawberry, and some hidden rose. Milk, lots of milk. In the end, there were those base notes that Middle Eastern perfumes do so well...lightly musky and vanillic. Yum. I read a couple reviews that said this smelled like baby powder. I don't get baby powder as much as I do milk (tonka bean and amber?) and a combo of the floral and fruity notes. Fresh, a little sweet, completely enchanting, completely addicting.

Lattafa Asdaaf Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose — 3.4 oz ($17.74) I bought this expecting it to smell like rose because of the name, but honestly it doesn’t smell like rose to me. First spray is strong and a little sharp/alcoholy. After it settles it turns into powdery + sweet vanilla + white musk + skittles. It doesn’t smell cheap — the bottle looks nice, pretty, feels like velvet and the scent smells more expensive than $17 — but I don’t smell the rose I was expecting (to complete my all rose layering collection). It also leans powdery, sweet, vanilla-ish. It’s not full baby powder/diaper smell (thankfully, because I don’t want to smell like that), but there’s definitely a powdery vibe. Lasts a long time, even longer on clothes. Overall — I’m still not sure if I’ll wear it every day as perfume, but for $17 it’s also fine to use as a room spray or linen spray. If you want a true rose scent, skip it. If you like sweet vanilla/musk and don’t mind a little powder, it’s nice and it works. 4/5 — not what I expected for its name but not bad for the price. I do like it though. Will keep.😃

I absolutely love this perfume! It is one of my most complimented. It’s soft, sophisticatedly sweet, feminine and pretty. Ive been told I smell good from a distance, its follows and produces an attracting scent trail. It will be apart of my signature rotation and I’ll be ordering back ups.

So Before I give y'all my review on this beautiful perfume… let me just say my journey have only just begun on these affordably less expensive fragrances. I use to buy and probably still buy my usual $400 and up perfumes from extremely expensive and high end brands. But thanks to my bestie I completely fell into the rabbit hole with these Arabic brands of fragrances. I probably won’t go back. So that being said.. this particular one here I am reviewing is literally the prettiest and most beautiful smelling perfume that I’ve bought so far from Lattafa. If you’re a women or man and you love the smell of sweet roses and fresh springy floral scents this is it. Also a disclaimer.. fragrance smells different on everyone. So if you are not sure by just reading the notes etc. I would buy to see how it smells on you. Then you can decide if you like it or not. DONT JUST READ THE INGREDIENTS AND THE SMELL NOTES. You have to smell it on you. In my opinion this is a beautiful piece.

I have the red bottle which is more fruity and floral and I really love that one. I really tried to like this but it was just too baby powdery for my liking. My boyfriend couldn't tolerate it. The strength and longevity is pretty good though. This smells similar to Skinpotion's Kama Sutra to me.

I absolutely LOVE other scents from this brand because not only do they smell amazing, but a little bit goes a long way. I have tried 2 other scents from this brand that were similar with subtle differences. Both of them smell amazing, and just a few sprays have longevity on my skin and clothing. I am done with designer scents because they smell so good and have such an excellent throw for the price. And I was so excited to try other scents from this brand as finances allowed. However... This particular scent, on first spray, smells like almost nothing to me. I waited a bit and sprayed a little more. After dry-down, I noticed a subtle fragrance, so after I showered I applied a HEAVY layer to my skin and clothing. After a few layers, this perfume smells delicious, but I only really notice the scent if I press my nose against my skin. As always from this brand, it came in gorgeous packaging, leak-free and totally clean from leaks in a large size bottle that puts other brands to shame for the price per ounce. But the scent is so weak that the amount I will have to use to make it noticeable kind of cancels out the great price. I was looking forward to trying every feminine scent from this brand, but now I'm not so sure. Update Ok, so I have noticed with a lot of these type of perfumes some people are saying that after opening and spraying, you need to let them sit for a month or 2 to get the true scent. I let this sit, and pulled it back out to try after about a month. I have to say, the scent is definitely stronger, and has notes I didn't pick up when I originally tried it. It is still a soft, sweet fragrance and smells very nice, but it is stronger now. Just a couple of sprays and I can smell it. So I had to change my rating.
