Amazing keyboard, one gripe
Amazing keyboard. tons of lighting modes. feels good to type on. build quality is beautiful. comes in an awesome box and felt bag. accessories are nice. price point is on point. My only gripe is that each key has one LED, and on max brightness for keys that have 2 symbols (say the 1 / ! key, or on the numpad the . / Del key) one of the symbols gets less light. SO for example, you get a nice lit row of symbols but dim, hardly lit numbers. The symbols on the keys are still visible in darkness with the LEDs, but it is kind of a weird catch. In my opinion, for these cases they could have added an extra LED for the secondary symbol or just make the other symbols more transparent to let more light in. Either way, it is fantastic keyboard for the price.

Great for a few weeks then major issues and failures just days after the return date expired
Great keyboard for the first month I had it, then started getting flickering or randomly dimming lights on the keyboard, and strings of keys typing out without touching the device. I expected a much higher quality product from a major brand like this, but it has become totally useless. Tested on multiple computers same issue.

Too good to be true (almost)
I'ts a pretty good keyboard. Switches feel great and the price is awesome. However, the led behind some keys have died out (7 has no longer blue ourple and green, a has no longer yellow and green and right control has no more led)

Broke in less than a year.
For the first 8 months of this keyboards short life it worked flawlessly. Then my typing accuracy seemed to drop dramatically, as I type all day this was rather perplexing. after a week away from this board while on vacation I went back to it and realized the vast majority of keys have stopped responding on the first press. after repeated banging on said keys or sometimes a second push they would finally output. this has made the keyboard totally unusable in any efficient manor. I can not recommend buying this product under any circumstances. STAY AWAY FROM FAKE CHERRY SWITCHES>

Great Value for $40
I had purchased this keyboard for $40 even though the MSRP is much higher. You get a good amount of items in the box including: keycap puller, key bag, keyboard bag, 12 orange keys, icon/logo sticker, and a wrist sweat band. While some of the items are useful, some are a complete waste of resources like the sweat band and logo sticker. As for the keyboard its self the RGB works will and can be customized to your liking. Some review articles list that this board has Cherry Reds but they actually have Gigabyte RED TTC switches. They feel nice but would have preferred Cherry Reds. Overall this keyboard is a great value at $40 but if it sells for the MSRP of ~$100 then it starts to lose value. A $100 keyboard should included better switches as well as getting rid of some of the junk that is included. 3 stars if you're buying this close to MSRP 5 stars if bought at $40.

Gigabyte XK700 Keyboard (Not the k83)
Bought mine while on sale and is an awesome product! Cherry MX Red with extra key caps, puller and cover. Very nice features with the brushed "natural metal" color and design making it distinctive from the common black brushed metal. Would recommend as a great buy!

It’s okay
It’s a nice, good keyboard, but I have had this keyboard for a little over a month and the W key has became less responsive, sometimes it doesn’t work, or it’ll quit working while I am holding it down. Not lasting long.

7 Months, Mechanical Switches are Failing.
First off, this case is absolutely beautiful. The coloring and overall feel of the keyboard is amazing... just not the quality. That's why I gave this review 2 starts rather than 1. I ordered this keyboard about 7 months ago and since then I've noticed quite a lot of issues with the Gigabyte keyboard. Around 4 months of owning I started to see some coloring issues on some of the keys (some keys would be completely different color than what you had programmed them to be). After 6 months I started seeing some mechanical switch issues. For example, my "a" key requires multiple presses to get any press to be registered. After looking through other reviews, I'm not the only one who has this issue. This is a huge issue if you're trying to play any video game, especially for me with the "a" key no longer working. I think the overall design of this keyboard is fantastic for the price. However, the internal quality feels extremely cheap. I suggest looking towards getting Logitech G512 instead of this keyboard. Its similar price, better reviews, and has exactly the same features as this keyboard.

Buena opción calidad precio, sería una excelente opción si estuviera en español el teclado. La iluminación RGB es buena y totalmente controlable desde el software. El tacto de los switches son buenísimos pese a no tener Cherry.

Bought this keyboard on sale for $59 Can. At this price I think it is well worth the purchase. However my rating is based on that price or something in the same ballpark. The regular price is $129. At that price you can probably find a better keyboard without even trying. But good luck finding any kind of mainstream brand mechanical keyboard at $59. I find the no-name brand red switches keys to be very good: clicky but not super clicky or loud. I just wanted RGB backlighting to make it easier to see in low light so I use a solid colour and don't with the fancy presets. Pros: Mechanical switches. Good build quality. The aluminum top is a bit shiny without being a fingerprint magnet and it looks very good with the RGB keys. RGB is nice and bright and easily controllable with keyboard function keys. Some nice looking preset effects if you are into the super blingy type of look. Cons: Only one. There is no software or manual in the box. Just includes a small note about the extra keys and a cheat sheet for the function keys. Software can be downloaded from Gigabyte site but not that easy to find and the software itself kind of sucks. You can use it to change the key colours individually and cobble together a few presets of your own. It also lets you record macros and change any key to be what you want. BUT it has absolutely no documentation whatsoever and it is far from intuitive. Not to mention there are a couple of issues with selecting a game setting and not being able to clear that without restarting the software. But it doers the job I guess. Conclusion: Pretty much what I said in the beginning. Good buy when it is on sale at a substantial discount but definitely not worth buying when it is at full price. Attractive and well built mechanical keyboard.

-Switches are almost like cherry reds, a tiny bit louder but there's no clicking. -RGB is great. The side scrolling rainbow seems a bit 'jittery'. There's a small high pitched hum when the lights are on, but you don't notice it if you have headphones on. -It's got a convenient Windows Key lock button -Nice brushed metal base
