Allbirds Women’s Tree Breezer, Knit Ballet Flats, Slip-On Everyday Round Toe Shoes, Machine Washable Made with Natural Materials

I recently purchased and tested four of the most popular ballet flats for women, hoping to find the perfect everyday pair. I wore each of them for several days to really get a feel. Here’s my honest comparison: Allbirds Tree Breezers Rothy’s The Flat Tory Burch Minnie Travel Flats FitFlop Delicato Bow Leather Ballerinas 1. Allbirds Tree Breezers – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Winner) These are everything I was looking for. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box — soft, breathable, flexible, and incredibly lightweight. No break-in time, no rubbing, and they’re machine washable (huge plus). They hug the foot nicely without being tight, and the material has a natural stretch that works well even if your feet swell during the day. Bonus points for being eco-conscious and easy to style with both casual and workwear. 2. Rothy’s The Flat – ⭐⭐ These were honestly disappointing. They look sharp and structured, but they’re not very comfortable, especially for wider feet. The material felt stiff, with noticeable rubbing at the heel and sides, and they didn’t mold to the foot as much as I'd hoped. Also, the footbed lacked cushioning — I couldn’t wear them for long without discomfort. Great in theory, but not practical for all-day wear unless you have narrow feet and prioritize looks over feel. 3. Tory Burch Minnie Travel Flats – ⭐⭐ Visually elegant, but these underperformed in a few areas. First, mine arrived in a plain white box without the original packaging or dust bag, which was disappointing for a high-end brand. Second, while the leather is soft, the comfort just isn’t there. They’re flat, unsupportive, and not breathable — my feet felt sweaty quickly. Fine for short wear or fancy occasions, but not built for extended walking or everyday use. 4. FitFlop Delicato Bow Leather Ballerinas – ⭐⭐⭐ These were okay — more supportive than Tory Burch, and the bow design is cute. The leather is soft and the arch support is better than expected. But overall, they still didn’t match the flexibility, comfort, or breathability of Allbirds. Also, the fit felt a bit off and loose on my foot. Good for dressier casual wear, but not something I’d grab daily. Final Verdict: After testing all four, Allbirds Tree Breezers are hands-down the best overall. They’re ultra-comfortable, washable, and versatile — everything I wanted in a go-to flat. The others each have their niche, but if you're after all-day comfort, especially if you have normal or slightly wide feet, go with Allbirds. They blew the rest out of the water.

I'm a 6.5/7 normally. I don't have super wide feet but like my toes splayed not squished. I got a 7- way too tight in toe box, returned for 7.5- a little more room in toe box but too long and slipped off heel when I walked. I was about to give up but decided to return for size 8 (I've never been a size 8 in my life in any brand shoe) they felt great in toe area, a little loose all around but the elastic upper kept them on my feet and heels surprisingly didn't slip off when I walked. Ended up wearing them and as they wore in they got better and better. Washed them and now they fit like a literal glove. They are so cozy, they feel like socks with soles. The insoles are squishy and don't fatigue my feet after wearing all day. I can remove them put in sole brand insoles for proper support and turn them into the most comfortable flat ever. They are made really well. I've worn them through rain storms and gotten them soaked, they dry super fast in the sun. I have both grey and black and they have two different insoles-- wool and tencel, I prefer the tencel. Comparing these to rothys- I prefer the style of the rothys point but these allbirds blow rothys out of the water in every other aspect. Advice: use the buy and try and get all the sizes if you're unsure.

These are my second pair. Very comfortable and washable!

I expected a perfect shoe fit, substantial and functional materials, normal foot coverage, and extraordinary comfort and support to not just wear the shoes but live in them and they live in and for me and the shoe was a vast disappointment in all categories and certainly not worth a $105 or $10!!!

Based on many of the reviews, I bought these a half size smaller. They ended up being way too large, and had to return I would recommend purchasing your regular size. The style was cute, and they felt very comfortable. Amazon had a great price

Comfortable but it expands too easily and warps out of shape

The Allbirds Women’s Tree Breezers have become a staple in my wardrobe! They feel amazing on my feet and fit perfectly, which is impressive since I have a small foot and often struggle to find ballet flats that stay on when I walk. I can walk long distances in these without any discomfort—a rare find for flats. This is actually my second pair because I wear them so often (about four days a week!), and they’ve held up incredibly well. It took a few years before I needed to replace them, which speaks volumes about the quality and workmanship. If you’re looking for comfortable, durable, and stylish flats, I can’t recommend these enough!

Lightweight, cute, and comfy but the fit didnt work for me. Usually, I wear a 9. After foot surgery 5 years ago i tend to wear a wide due to swelling. But i've always been a little narrow prior. I ordered a 10 (1 full size up) per vendor suggestion for wides. They were very comfy but the heel slipped when walking. Not enough to pop all the way off but enough tbat i returned for a 9.5. The 9.5 heel still slips when walking but tops of my feet are compressed and now are bulgging. It's just not super comfy. I thought about going back to the 10 and adding a heel cushion, but i just hate when shoes have to be modified. So they're going back. Allbirds. Just make a wide size. You cant just arbitrarily use longer sizes to make up for wider feet anymore than a 32DD bra is the 'same' as a 36C. It doesnt fit right.

Love these flats! Worth the money.
