I purchased so that my pets wont tumble on this and dig in the trash to olay and its always closed to keep odor away. The usual trash cans priced at this and i thought why not get a smart one. The built and style is worth the money. Its sturdy and fits a standard medium trash bag and its being held by a ring inside. The built is really robust and the style complements my room a lot. As for the opening time, its ample to throw away and isnt a nuissance. Im happy with this
