Exactly what I needed to repair my zipper. 3 sizes, stops, tool, adn clearly written and illustratedinsturctions made this a very easy to do task.

You should buy this if you just need a variety of zipper sliders to repair a broken slide. But you should already know the basics of fixing a zipper. I have very little zipper experience and the tiny instruction sheet wasn’t all that helpful, but with a little common sense I was able to fix two zippers, making an instrument gig bag useful again. The challenge with putting a new slider on is that the zipper is usually sewn shut at the starting end of the zipper and feeding both sides of the zipper into the slider is almost impossible. So if you’re willing to compromise by having about 1/2” less zipper travel at the starting end, you simply clip off the zipper teeth at the starting end for about 1/4” to 3/8” and make sure the zipper tooth material is pulled from the fabric so the zipper slider can be started from the new tooth free start position you’ve created. Start the zipper and then use one of the clips that functions like a staple to secure the new starting position of the slider. This will keep the zipper from coming apart. With that caveat, good value and well worth the money - in fact the little end clipper tool included is almost worth the purchase price.

Tried this on two different sweatshirts with broken zippers. The general fit seemed right, so it looks like I ordered the right size (as measured per instructions). My first try was plastic zipper and the new pull just would not engage the teeth correctly. Second try was weird because the new zipper pull would only align if placed backward (facing in) on the sweatshirt. So... kinda worked but not really easy to zipper from the inside of the clothing. On the plus side there are lots of zippers in the package in two different sizes and a mix of two color options. So, I will have other chances to try this on a bunch of different tries.

Very flimsy zipper pulls, more like tin. Lots of tiny pieces in different sizes all thrown together in a bag with zippers. Sizing the tiny pieces with the appropriate size zipper is impossible. The only thing in this kit that is of any value is the tool it comes with.

I was able to fix the broken zipper on my NFL windbreaker. It was a little difficult getting the new zipper on the fabric, but I finally got it done. The zipper works great. It would be nice if there were more of the clamps. I almost broke the one that fit my zipper during installation. The provided tool was very handy for getting the old stay(clamp) off, but I used a needle-nose pliers to install the new one- that is the tool the picture in the instructions showed being used.

**ALERT: these do not come with directions. You either need to already know how to use them or you can check out YouTube for DIY videos.** Where I live we get maybe a month's worth of use out of a winter coat and I broke the zipper on mine last year. This zipper replacement kits comes with 3 different sizes of zippers in black and silver plus bottom and top stoppers in various sizes. It also comes with a pair of pliers. All of the hardware was in a single ziplock bag, which doesn't bother me since it was all going to go into the bottom of a drawer anyways. The pliers have a cone-shaped bag over the head to help protect it and keep the oils on it so they do not rust. My mom was able to fix my coat and said that it was pretty easy. It zips up and down just fine now though it is currently in the 100's at the moment so I am not going to give it a good wear for a while. I have a purse and a hoodie that I am going to get her to fix next. I am happy to know that these items can be fixed. Please check your sizing before ordering. I would also highly suggest checking out some videos on YT if this will be your first replacement to ensure you are getting the right sizes and that it is something you feel you are capable of doing.

My son's Rebock winter jacket has a broken zipper. These zipper pulls do not fit over the fabric of the zipper. I'm not referring to the fabric at the top that is typically difficult to overcome, I'm referring to the fabric along the entire length of the zipper on both sides. I used a razor blade to open the sides a little but then the zipper pull won't close the zipper properly. The jacket zipper is nylon. The set includes a variety of zipper pull sizes and while there are many pieces in the set, there are only a couple of different sizes in terms of width however, they are all intended for use on thin, lightweight fabrics.

I tried these on 3 different zips, none fit. They don't align properly. Don't waste your hard earned money on these.

The metal is low quality and the tab bent while installing first zipper, not going to use it as i feel it will just break and have to fix again soon.. when I tested strength of other zipper it broke in two pieces.

Cannot imagine where are all the good comments come from? So cheap and so bad quality, and cannot qualified for return! So think more than twice before you purchase this
