Favorite new shoe for Zumba
This shoe provides great cushion and stability while giving me the pivot points on the sole that allow for the quick turns that go along with Zumba. I've always favored Nikes for class and searched the outlet stores for my favorite discontinued style. This New Balance shoe is the most comfortable shoe I've worn to teach class in for quite a while.

Not quite what I needed
Ordered these shoes for Zumba because they were light weight, and some reviews said that they were somewhat wide. While I usually wear an 8-8.5, I usually order my shoes in a 9 (often in wides) in order to use my orthotic. These shoes fit perfectly right out of the box, but when I tried to use the orthotic, the shoes were too small/shallow, and my heel slipped out. They were very comfortable without the orthotic, but when I tried to do some Zumba steps, I realized that the shoe didn't have enough support for me. I would recommend these shoes to people who can wear them without an insert, but in my opinion they run somewhat small.

Great lightweight shoe for Zumba, kickboxing
I'll start by saying New Balance is my go to brand for all my athletic shoes due to the way they fit. I have a slightly wide foot, and NB works great for me. As previous reviews have stated this shoe might run a little small, I normally order a 9W, but the 9-1/2 B worked fine for me. The shoe is very lightweight, so perfect for dance and boxing/KB. Thus far it offers good stability and the right amount of cushion- not too much where you feel like your feet are stuck to the floor, but enough so it offers some protection from impact on jumps. The colors in the shoe are BRIGHT, so beware if you are into more subtle colors.

Comfy Shoe
This shoe is really comfy and very lightweight. I have worn other New Balance shoes before, and wearing this particular shoe felt a little different because it is very light compared to other New Balance shoes. Also feels like it has a lot of cushioning or padding, which is great for my flat feet. So the combination of a weightless feel plus the extra cushioning took a little getting used to at first, but not in a bad way. Unfortunately, the heel of my foot seems to slip out a little compared to my other shoes. Unlike other reviews, I did not find the shoe wider than normal at all. I purchased my normal gym shoe size, and it fits just fine. I use this shoe for cardio hip hop class as well as weight training.

An Amazing shoe at an Amazing price!
This shoe for my aerobic dance/barre class is PERFECT! I believe it will be good for many of m other classes as well! It fits beautifully - true to size. They are so lightweight and quite flexible, but with enough support for lateral moves! GREAT PRICE, as well!

Very little support
I imagine this is a nice shoe for someone with a neutral foot. It's flexible, lightweight and allows one to move easily. Unfortunately, it does not provide anywhere near enough support for someone with a flat foot. I wear stability shoes with good, supportive insoles for running. Stability running shoes, of course, are not ideal for a Zumba class. They don't provide enough lateral support and they're too big and structured to allow the kind of movement zumba requires. I've been on a quest for the right zumba shoe for a couple years now. I've worn the 867s to three classes, added good insoles and am just about ready to give up on them. My foot pain begins on about the third song and lasts the rest of the class. I guess I'll go back to my running shoes for Zumba. The clunkiness is better than severe pain. My search for a decent zumba shoe continues...

Couldn't even lace them up!
I got my shoes quickly and took them out of the box to try them on. They were light and I liked the soles and construction - good stability! I slipped on the right shoe to try it on. There are two loops on the collar where you slip the laces through last. As I drew the laces snug, the loops broke - popped right out of the shoe! It may have been a defect of that one shoe. I believe that was the case because the many pairs of New Balance shoes I've had in the past were well constructed and durable.

Perfect training/aerobics class shoe!
I love this shoe! It does fit about a 1/2 size small (part of the reason why I love it- can't ever find a shoe small enough to fit!). I take mainly cardio kickboxing classes, as well as some other boot camp and hip hop classes. I don't do Zumba, but I assume that it would be a good shoe for Zumba as well. It has a lot of cushioning, is already broken in, and has great flexibility.
