It's not indestructible obviously, due to the screen being out but if you drop it at a reasonable distance it should be fine. The handle is convienent too.

Very durable & cheap - good for kid & adult use
Really great product. I hope they make these for my iPad Pro cuz this doesn’t seem like it could be this cheap & quality but it is. Wish I had bought this before the first screen replacement. Works for Ipad 2.
I am happy with this product for the protective value it offers. My son dropped his Ipad 2 on the concrete and shattered the glass. I replaced the glass and decided to purchase this to prevent additional replacements (even though I'll miss out on the fun of spending half a day vacuuming atomized glass shards off the floor). Since then my son has dropped the ipad several additional times and this case offered complete protection. Glad I spent the money. Pros: -Nice, light, soft & bouncy texture. Like a mix between solid rubber and foam. -Carrying handle a plus for kids. Protects against and prevents additional drops -Fairly good looking case. -Handle doubles as a stand. Conversely, it can also work somewhat like a hook. Very functional. -Connecting cable port tab closes and opens. Prevents dirt/grime from entering the charging port. Cons: - Power button is covered by the case and is not accessible. Can still operate it thought with some practice by mashing through the case. Not a deal breaker. - Stand is somewhat unstable. Again, not a deal breaker, but a pillow or book behind the stand provides the additional required stability when a toddler uses the tablet.

Great for kids with autistic disorder.
Best purchase ever for a iPad. I have a 7 yr old son with autism and when he gets over stimulated he will just drop or even throw the iPad. Also as he is walking around with it he will bang it into things. I would say it gets dropped, thrown, and banged into things around 30+ times a day and the iPad keeps working. This is a great product that protects you device well.

Amazing!
This has been one of the best purchases for our iPad. Our oldest daughter was gentle with electronics and then we had our second daughter and she's no gentler than a tornado. The handle really helps avoid awkward dropping that can come with iPads. And when it does fall the case absorbs the hit rather than the iPad. The price can't be beat. If we ever get other tablets in the future this is the case we'll buy.

Great cover!
I love this cover. It works well for my 2 year old. Makes the IPad far more protected. I added the velcro patch onto the back so I can just hang it on my car seat for my child to watch. Love the handle and how it acts like a stand. Could not be more pleased.

Miss leading
Just opened my HDE Shock Proof case and I purchased it for my iPad 3 and it don't snug fit. The iPad slides. So I put my son IPad 1 and it fits like a charm! The product is very thick and made of a plastic foam structure. I will recommend to a friend put will say only if you own the thick first generation iPads.

Pretty and durable.
The case is durable and it's easy to carry around like a bag because of the handle. Your iPad slides inside, on a tight firm fit which makes it hard for the kids to take out. And that great. I just wish it was rubber. But it's a durable foam like material. I have 2 kids and it still last, which is great for me. My kids like it.

The perfect protection
I bought two of those for my 8 years old twins and it's been a year now, and they are using it every day and they still look brand new! Easy to use, they do offer a very good protection and are really handy when it's time to travelled or watch a movie.
