Very good quality, time-saving sprayer
I'd guess it took a total of 3 hours of painting to finish my kitchen, hallway, and living room with this. The prep work took way longer than the actual painting. Using rollers and brushes takes a lot more time and way more energy (which I no longer have), and doesn't give as good of a finish as a sprayer. I chose this sprayer over the cheaper ones because it looked (and is) well built, and I didn't want to exhaust myself holding up a sprayer with a tank full of paint as I painted all these walls. This sprayer did not disappoint! It was easy to use and clean. The tip that came with it worked great and didn't have to be replaced before I finished. I have some experience with sprayers from a job I had years ago painting railcars, but there are a ton of YouTube videos for those who have zero experience, including videos specific to this sprayer for directions on its use. Practice on some cardboard first to get your pressure and technique right. That's VERY important. The paint I chose was PPG Speedhide from Home Depot. It's good paint at a really good price. It nearly covered my walls in one coat with this sprayer. After the first coat, I waited about an hour to touch up some areas where the dark grey was still peaking through. I got 5 gallons for $110, and it covers so much better than the more expensive mid-grade paints I've tried before. It dried quickly, but was easy to clean up accidental overspray from my counters and floors. For prep, I recommend using orange Frog tape and heavy canvas drop clothes. I got 4 rolls of the orange Frog tape from Walmart for about $18 and 2 large canvas drop clothes from Harbor Freight for $30. The blue Scotch painter's tape and pre-taped paper I bought on Amazon did not hold up for this job (thus the need to clean up overspray). Plastic drop clothes work fine to cover windows, cabinets, and appliances if you tape them completely on all sides, or else the plastic will fly up when the sprayer gets near the edge. Heavy drop clothes worked best for the floors, and I didn't have to use up all my tape to hold them down. I went with white paint, so I didn't need to worry about covering the ceilings. Every room in my house was painted dark grey when I bought it, and I will be using this sprayer to paint the bathrooms and bedrooms next.

This thing is impressive for the price!
Very impressed with this sprayer. It's very easy to use, love how easy it is to clean, and it hasn't given me any issues yet! It doesn't clog up easily and it's lightweight. Great deal for the price! I would recommend to anyone!

Worked Fabulous
Slight learning curve but once I got it - was a breeze! But man this uses a lot of paint - but made my job so much easier! No leaking, great quality...only wish it had more of a spray control to minimize spray radius.

Worth the purchase.
Finally got to use it and it worked well. There is a learning curve that one needs to be patient with. I kept having issues with the spray gun randomly spraying from the nozzle nut area (where the yellow arrow is mounted on) instead of the actual tip. That would cause a big mess on my hand and spray gun. I tightened the nozzle and it helped but I kept having issues. While cleaning I think the spray nozzle was not seated all the way down so that might have been the issue, I don't really know. As far as time is really did save me a lot of time and it seems to be good quality. Spray pattern was ok as well but that takes patience and practice. I recommend, but due to issue I gave it a 4 star.

Thumbs up ๐ good product for remodeling
Works perfect. Great flow, easy to clean, unlike most sprayers. Make sure you prep plenty. Cover everything good that you don't want to get your product your spraying on. This thing has a very powerful flow, which is good news! Simple and efficient. The reviews that say it has trouble with it's priming are just not true if you follow the instructions and don't skip steps. There is an option to run it in backwards to unclog, and prime settings clearly marked. Comes with all the assembly and cleaning tools. There are little tags all over the device with reminders on what to do so it works properly, so I'm thinking ego got in the way for folks and they thought they knew what they were doing and just started trying to use it without reading this product labels and instructions. The company does a really good job of explaining everything, and reminding you. There are links online also for product demonstration and a call center for questions. I'd recommend this to a friend. ๐

Very Easy to Use.....Almost Made Me Look Like A Professional
When I was finishing my basement, I needed a lot of painting to be done. I contemplated hiring a painter, and renting a sprayer. I ultimately ended up taking a leap of faith and purchased a sprayer. It was way more economical and gave me a lot of flexibility on my time line. This was my first go at painting with a sprayer. I used this sprayer to paint my unfinished ceiling black. This machine made it very easy. It is very user friendly and forgiving. I used it with 1 gallon and 5-gallon containers without missing a bit. It is very sturdy and durable. I will admit that the sprayer hose gets very rigid due to the pressure in the hose. As with all paint sprayers, clean up is dreaded and takes a bit of time. I have got it down to about 10 minutes now and it extends the life of the sprayer. I did not strain any of the paint prior to running it through the sprayer and did not experience any clogs. I learned that when using the sprayer, you lose about 1 gallon for every five gallons. By loose I mean you are unable to run it through the sprayer at that point. I planned for it and it worked out great by pouring the left over paint from the 5-gallon bucket into a gallon can, combing used 1 gallons cans, and/or using the residual to do touch ups. It was perfect. This sprayer is perfect for beginners. It requires low maintenance, easy to use/apply paint, relatively easy clean up and cost efficient. I highly recommend this sprayer. It saved me a lot of time and money.

Nice Product
I am impressed with the quality of this sprayer. I purchased this primarily for painting the exterior of a recently purchased shipping container. I'm certainly not a professional painter and have done some DIY spray painting in the past. This unit made it a breeze. The instructions for set up, use and cleaning were simple to follow. The sprayer worked flawless and it took no time to spray the container. If I never use the sprayer again, it saved me a ton of money, as compared to hiring a professional painter to do the job.

Not recommended for the unfamiliar, a smaller project, or interior use -- what they don't tell you!
The instructions are very good and set up as explained. It operated as described and the paint was usable from the can (Sherwin Williams). But what a mess it makes in one's home! 1. The sprayer generates a fine dust from the spray that WILL travel to every room in the house, less so if the door is shut. Unless one can isolate the area and open ventilation, this is unavoidable. I have had to clean up dust on three different floors that could not be closed off. One should not have to set up vapor barriers to paint, IMHO. 2. The overspray is hard to manage, even with appropriate control. I covered a foot from the border of the paint area but could see where spray coated areas beyond the cover (1 foot; 2 foot recommended). I now have two ceilings to paint. And a sprayer doesn't eliminate climbing ladders to tape the edges and install the protection covers that had limited success. 3. Unless one is experienced, it is hard to get an even coat, even with practice and test sprays. I have uneven coverage in about 20% of the areas I painted, doing my best to follow the recommendations of the OEM and multiple videos online to learn as much as I could. 4. The set up and prep is significant to protect what shouldn't get paint on it. It's less work to roller and brush for a small to medium job. 5. Try though I might, coverage was uneven. I had a paintbrush in hand to fix what I could. More touchup will be needed, but that's another day. 6. The cleanup of the machine is messy and takes a while. To get it right, one needs a garden hose connection and somewhere for the extra water to go. I used three spare 5-gal buckets through the process to hold the waste, provide the water for priming, and hold the unwanted spray from unclogging (didn't happen often, but it was needed. And that didn't include the containers holding the paint. If I could return it,. I would. but I used the product and it operated as it should. Just caution to the uninitiated -- it takes practice, skill, appropriate setup and preparation, ideal ventilation, and time to use the tool correctly. I will stick to the roller and brush unless I have to paint an exterior home or the house is EMPTY and needs many rooms painted -- not likely in my foreseeable future!

Awesome sprayer
First time using an airless sprayer and caught on in minutes. Primed and painted an entire house. Doing another soon. The unit works great and a decent price too.

Great sprayer for DIY'er
I never used a sprayer in my life before this one and have always been to heavy handed with spray paint so I was nervous about using this and not messing up. Took me 5 minutes to get the hang of this unit where I sprayed a little heavy (easy fix, I backrolled the runs I created in about 10 seconds)...After that I sprayed 1200 square feet of basemnnt including the ceilings over two days using jus the included tip and supplies (It actually only took 3 or 4 hours total but I ran out of paint halfway through the first day). Didin't sputter or clog once and the paint came out very consistently. It came out flawless. I showed it to my drywall contractor when he came to pick up some tools after and he was amazed at how well it came out. I did strain the paint as suggested which took all of 30 seconds and I even ran some very old primer through it which I was told was " expired" and was way thinner thsn the benjamin moor primer i used otherwise and it still did great. I mentioned running out of paint above because I was worried about cleaning and storage because as a DIY'er somtimes the second time around equipment fails or doesn't perform as well because we don't have supplies or skill to clean and store equipment like this well enough but this sprayed just as well after cleaning and storge ( which was also super easy) as it did out of the box
