This is the greatest drum dampener ever. I actually like steves donut a bit more but for small rooms live I stack them both.

utile, non essenziale
Buon prodotto, ben fatto. Utile se si vuole ottenere un suono più "grosso" o un volume molto più controllato, azzerando gli armonici (pratica molto utile soprattutto nel live (i fonici ringrazieranno). Il risultato pratico tuttavia è molto simile ad una pelle appoggiata sul rullante ed il rapporto qualità-prezzo risulta quindi non molto vantaggioso.

Our drummers snare was loud in the mix...
While in studio, our drummers 13" snare drum was 12db louder in the kits mix. We didn't have time to mess with tape, new heads, etc. Pros: Overall the BFSD was a quick solution to bring the snare volume down in our mixes without asking our drummer to change how he played. Final sound was fatter, damper and level. Cons: Takes away "some" stick bounce back and if you like a "ring" to your tone you will loose that. We liked this full coverage with thumb tab over the donut version.
