Max 2 in 1 Ant Bait Station, 4 Count

This product saved my life during a massive ant invasion- at first I tried to use natural remedies like dimethicous earth and vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle. But neither were doing the trick. One night I woke up to a few ants crawling on me in my bed, and I was horrified! I researched the best product to use indoors in a small NY apartment and this was what I found. The ants are gone and I am so relieved.

Works great, fits almost anywhere. Hardest part is not killing off the ants while they are using it, cause they need to take back to the nest.

Bought this bait after having tried the other Combat ant gel (the one that comes in a syringe) which seems to have changed and doesn't seem to work anymore. You have to be careful when you break off the tab, to make sure it comes off cleanly in one piece and the bait chambers are properly exposed. My first one broke off improperly, and I had to poke a hole with a screwdriver to expose the bait. Also, you have to be careful when you break off the tab to make sure the liquid gel bait doesn't leak and splatter out. Can't speak for the solid brown bait, but the ants I had really took to the yellow gel side, and they were gone in a few days. One of the bait stations in the box I received had leaked out, and soaked the cardboard box. Looked like the seam between the top and bottom pieces of the bait station wasn't properly sealed. Not sure if this was poor manufacturing or maybe it was improperly stored. Wish folks would check for these things before it leaves the factory and before it leaves the warehouse.

These little ant motels are the greatest thing since the formula of Terro was changed. They contain 2 different baits because not all ants eat the same, protein/sweet. No joke, I put these out in the morning and the very next morning the ants are gone and they don’t come back. I’m never without these. I’ve used other Combat ant products but nothing comes close to these.

I do not recommend this product at all. The instructions are almost non existent. They do not say whether to peel adhesive covering of top where bait is. I did and put some out and then I had to go online to check. Combat says to “snap” the “rough tab off by pressing down. It is HARD MOLDED PLASTIC THAT DOES NOT SNAP OFF. 3 adults in my home couldn’t figure it out or snap it off. Finally my adult son came over and he got it to snap off at which point the hard plastic tab flew when it snapped and hit my toddler grandson in the eye. After all that the so called instructions doesn’t tell you which way to place, ie it has a bottom and top but I guess Combat wants that to be a guessing game. I dumped the whole batch in the trash.

This really works! It’s easy to use priced well doesn’t have toxicity exposed to pets , Young children or humans. I saw results within days and the ants were gone. I highly recommend it.

Observations: The poison in it must be very strong. The first bait station I set out attracted a lot of ants, with a line heading off to the nest. But I noticed that ants that were taking the poison bait would start wandering randomly around the bait station, and within a day the bait station was surrounded by a spread of dead ants. And no further line of ants went back toward the nest. So while I can see the poison is effective, I'm not sure it's getting taken to the nest where it's supposed to wipe out the queen. Maybe just a bit too strong for our little ghost ants?

This did a great job killing off ants that were invading my kitchen. I like that it has two different kinds of bait. It is a "clean" and well packaged solution.

تم استخدام الطُعُم في مدينة مكة المكرمة لمكافحة النمل الأحمر الصغير في البداية لم يحصل أي شيء ولم يخرج النمل للطُعُم، ثم قمت بوضع قطعة من الطعام لجذب النمل وبالفعل خرج النمل وإلتمّ حول قطعة الطعام والطُعُم، بعدها أزلت قطعة الطعام لأترك النمل حول الطُعُم السام فقط، لكن بعد فتر ترك النمل الطُعُم كما هو ولم يقترب منه مرة أخرى
