I absolutely love this privacy film! It came with all the tools needed to get the job done, which made everything so much easier. The backing has helpful measurement lines, so cutting it to the right size was simple and accurate. Installation took me less than 5 minutes, and it was very straightforward, just make sure to follow all the steps and you’ll have no issues. It’s also super easy to remove, which is a huge bonus. If you travel a lot or stay in rentals that don’t have the privacy you need, you can put this up temporarily and take it down when you leave without any hassle. I originally got this for peace of mind. Even though my bathroom window faces the woods on a second floor, I still didn’t feel completely comfortable. With things like drones and other gadgets out there, it’s nice not to worry anymore. Now I can step out of the shower feeling totally at ease. It looks great, lets in plenty of light, and provides exactly the privacy I was looking for. Highly recommend!

The film came with everything I needed to apply the film on the windows. You still need to clean the glass first. Super easy directions for appling to the glass. The Square lines on the film ( like wrapping paper) make it easy to cut and measure for each window. Instructions even had tips on how to seperate the cling paper from the film which was very helpful. Film itself was very thick and durable. Looks great on the window while letting in light and keeping the room private. Have not had a chance to check the heat reduction properties yet. Will check with heat gun when I buy one. Looks very clean a professional in the room and wife was very satisfied at the results.

This works great! I have a window in our shower that points directly at our neighbors and I wanted some privacy. You can’t see anything at all and it looks really great! The set up process was really easy but a little tricky. Overall it’s great!

I wish I would have bought this sooner! Ok, this looks like a pain in the ass to do - but this was SO simple and SO easy. The package came with all the "tools" (exacto knife, sqeegie, spray bottle) so you literally just need to be brave and take the plunge. Measuring for accuracy is key, but super easy. Installation - used a ton of soapy water (as recommended) and it goes on super quick. The squeegie removes the air bubbles and Wah-Lah - PRIVACY! If you think you've done too many windows are are "stuck" with the result - or may only desire to have privacy "sometimes" - the film EASILY is removed and can be re-applied with more soapy water at a future date.

This frosted cling film was perfect to use on my garage door windows. They are large windows at eye level and I needed a way to block the view inside for safety reasons. They are the perfect appearance, letting plenty of light through. Installation was not too hard…a few bubbles happened but I was able to smooth them out with the addition of more water. I highly recommend this cling film.

I used this product as a temporary solution for privacy on an oddly-shaped window until I can have blinds made in a custom size. I would say that it's 'good' enough' for temporary use, but don't expect it to look like a professionally-shaded window. What I learned while installing this stuff is that if you want it to look good, you need to do everything PERFECTLY to get a good result. If your window is perfectly clean- and I mean PERFECTLY clean- every little speck that you miss will be magnified by this product once it is on the window. Also, when you install it, you have to make sure that every square inch of the glass is coated in the soapy water- if you miss wetting part of the glass even the size of a penny, it will wind up causing an air pocket that becomes difficult to remove. Removing the air bubbles with the included tool is one of those things where it works pretty well but it's nearly impossible to get it perfect. If you want this stuff as a temporary solution, it's worth it; if you think you're going to get a beautiful result that makes the window look like it was designed that way, you're probably being too optimistic.

This privacy film is the real deal (and at the price point, an actual deal)! I installed it on the lower 6 panes of our street-facing bathroom window after removing the old fashioned shutters that had hung over the lower portion of the window. The grids on the film backing make measuring and cutting very easy, and all of the tools needed for the install are included with the film, with the exception of scissors. The film cut beautifully and went on exactly as advertised. My only issue was the difficulty experienced when trying to peel off the backing from the film and a slight smell in the room for a day or so after install. I hung lace curtains over the top for added privacy, and I made sure that the film truly does provide privacy at night when the lights are on. I'd have installed the film on the top panes as well, but we'd like to be able to see the front yard and the walk up to our front door. All in all, this privacy film was exactly as advertised, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't eyeballing every other window in the house now and wondering where else I can put it.

I live in a rented apartment with a ground-floor back patio door that has seen better days. It's an awkward size and I haven't been able to buy ready-made window treatments to fit. I wanted something that would allow privacy but not make me feel blocked off from the world, and that would hide the disintegrating seal in the old door. Enter this pretty privacy film! This roll is a full kit that comes with a detailed double-sided instruction sheet and a few cute little tools. Reading the instructions, it's clear that the tools are more of a bonus than actually useful, but that's okay. The little spray bottle is super cute and will work great for my watercolour paints. There's also a tiny craft knife and a small squegee that comes in two parts that you slide together. The instructions show you need full-size products and a lot more than that but they do walk you through the entire process. I have not installed it yet as it is mid-Winter and very cold here, and it does say the film will not adhere well in cold temperatures. It also suggests having a friend to help when installing larger pieces. The back of the film has a pre-printed grid, like good gift wrap, for help in cutting the lines straight and the instructions say to cut it oversized and then trim to fit. There's a lot of film in the one roll so I'm confident that if I do make a mistake the first time I install, I will have more than enough to try it again. The floral design is so pretty, it's intricate and feels vintage-inspired but still reads as modern. It reminds of of etched crystal glasses and vases. I'm hoping all those facets in the design will catch the light and make rainbows as promised. Really looking forward to installing this film!

This renter friendly window film was super easy to install. I also appreciate how it came with everything you need - the squeegee, the spray bottle, and an exacto knife to trim the edges. It's nice not having to buy anything extra to install something you have bought already. The instructions are very clear, and it was a super easy and straightforward install. It took us all of about five minutes to install across our window today. I also appreciated the tip of using two pieces of tape to help separate it from the backing. I will definitely be using that trick again in the future. We installed it on bedroom window to provide a little bit of privacy when the curtains are open, but to still allow light to enter our bedroom. And it does the job perfectly. It also adds a lot to the look of the window. It is very pretty, and catches the light nicely. Very impressed with this product. I definitely recommend it.

J'ai installé ce film sur la fenêtre de ma salle de bain et je suis globalement satisfait du résultat. L'application est assez simple : un peu d'eau savonneuse, de la patience pour chasser les bulles d'air, et le tour est joué. Le kit est complet et inclut une raclette ainsi qu'un petit vaporisateur, ce qui est pratique même si les outils fournis restent basiques. Le film offre une bonne intimité en journée tout en laissant entrer la lumière naturelle, ce que j'apprécie vraiment. Le motif floral est élégant et apporte un côté décoratif intéressant, bien au-delà d'un simple film givré ordinaire. Cela dit, je nuancerais les attentes concernant l'effet arc-en-ciel : il est présent, mais nettement plus subtil que ce que les photos de la fiche produit laissent croire. Il faut que la lumière du soleil frappe la vitre à un angle précis pour obtenir des projections vraiment visibles dans la pièce. Pas de quoi être déçu, mais mieux vaut le savoir à l'avance pour ne pas se faire de fausses idées. En résumé, un bon produit pour allier intimité et esthétique, à condition de ne pas s'attendre à un spectacle de lumière permanent.

The Rainbow Window Privacy Film is gorgeous! It adds color and privacy to my windows without blocking light. Easy to apply and remove, and the stained-glass effect looks beautiful in the sun. Highly recommend!
