Direct replacement for Giant Roam - didnt need to adjust brakes or shifters !
bought for a midline Giant Roam that was nice, except the wheel bearings were toast. This replacement is stronger than those factory Giant rims, higher grade hub cartridge and it has a large number of cartridge bearings instead of the old cup/cone type that constantly need adjustments and regreasing. These rims roll smooth as glass. the freewheel clicks pretty loud- which is a cool upgrade and it makes aimless joggers/walkers/runners stop, turn and look to see whats going by them - a safety bonus. I had to move over the shimano gear cluster (which requires 2 tools - one to hold chain in place and special star socket that unbolts the cluster -- OR just buy a $20ish cluster with the teeth numbers you want as an upgrade in range. I didnt need to even adjust my gears. I ordered 12 gold disc torex bolts here for about $8, used a torex bit and a dewalt 1/4' brushless driver and buzzed off the discs and transferred them to this new set in about 10 minutes. The rim size is true 700c so the giant tires and a set of continental tires could be changed without tools. 44mm and 32MM tires seated on the bead without an issue. rims were true and straight out of the box. Arrived on time/fast. I would definately buy these again and recommend to friends/family/coworkers. tremendous value for the money.

Very smooth
I usually buy brand name wheel/hub but in this economy I gotta give the ZTZ a try. It was $80 and I was skeptical at first but after 2 months of 2-3 rides/week it has been very pleasant so far. I bought the 27.5 front wheel to replace my 10 year old cup and cone bearing MTB front wheel that is well worn and has a bent axle from a crash. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this wheel. It came perfectly true right out of the box and the spoke tension is symmetrical. Rode over 300 miles(paved and unpaved trails) with this new wheel since and it has been holding up excellent. No play, no rattling, no noise. It's not the lightest wheel out there in terms of weight but I don't feel the effects of the weight when accelerating or climbing. I feel that getting good quality tires with low rolling resistance and light weight are more important. This wheel has very low friction/rolling resistance, I put my new tire on and spun it to 120 rpm and it spun for 4min and 7 seconds before coming to a complete stop. This is >30 seconds longer than my much more expensive rims/hubs! I have been rough a few times, ie: did a few small jumps, hit some potholes, and had a few soft crashes here and there and the wheel has held up fine for the most part but it has some minor buckling(untrue) at different spots, which I had to true it up myself but nothing major, this is expected of a rim this price. Overall 4.5/5.

These are really nice (fit perfect once I got the right size. 29" is needed for 700C tires)
I have purchased two sets of these. Very stout freehub ratch and nice bearings. One of the four rims was slightly out of true. I wore out the freehub on my Giant bike, and it was not a freehub that was serviceable. Needed to replace the cassette as well since the old one was not a standard MTB type (It was pretty worn anyway.) So if you don't know much about these (like me) you will probably need a shim set for MTB hubs, since the cassette may be narrower than the splines on the MTB Hub. (Looks like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2M1VTCZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1). You will need a splined Lockring tool to tighten the cassette nut like this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX3E08Z?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title). And you are supposed to use a light oil rather than grease on the freehub pawls, in order to avoid attracting grit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008EMCWSY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title)

Good wheel but very loud
Great wheel, would give it a 5 star if the coast ratchet sound wasn’t so loud.

Great buy for the price.
The weight is ok for the price. The freehub works great but it's to noisy and is bone dry so I had to put some grease on it. The stickers are cool but it's too blingy for my taste but it's an easy fix. It runs very smooth too. I can't say about durability but I think this will last a long time.

Worth it.
I was unsure if this was going to improve my situation but am happy to say definitely it did. I had put many miles on my bike and was slowing down noticeably. Installing was easier than I thought and actually a lot of fun and I learned a lot as well. Also a good opportunity to deep clean your gears. The noise is not that crazy. Actually it helps when coming up on hikers. Would recommend - rear wheel spins much much better now.

Perfect replacement on my Viva electric bike. 27.5 x 1.95 Inch tire
This wheel really is super lightweight. Also, it came completely true already. I had to make zero spoke adjustments. The hole for the inner tube air vale is sized for the thinner (Presta?) valves, so I had to enlarge it a bit to get my US standard Schrader to fit. Be careful not to leave any burs when you do this.

Loud
Extremely loud bearings, other than that it was delivered fine and I installed it with no problems. It's a good back wheel.
