These were so convenient and super easy to assemble. I love how they are small and easy to extend once your ready to paddle. They quality material as well. Me and some friends always float down the river on our little floaties but having something to paddle with us a must (we learned that the hard way lol) but just relying on the current isn't a good idea. We end up floating into trees, going super slow or super fast at certain points. You just have no control, totally at the mercy of the river. Granted we still had a great time but with the paddles we were able to control it better. And the design is perfect for being able to condense them. Or even store them in the garage without taking up a bunch of room . Very functional and very necessary, 5/5 definitely love them

Very happy with these. I wanted a short paddle to store in my new center console boat but I also wanted some length and these worked out perfectly. Quality seems great also.

This is a great emergency paddle for when your watercraft fails. It folds up tight and compact, and I was able to store it in my jet ski hull without it taking up much space. I tested it on the water and had no problem paddling myself out of an emergency situation. For the price, it’s well worth it—compact, sturdy, and potentially life saving. A smart item to have on board.

I have a peddle kayak and bought to have as a backup. Completely compact, nice length extended. I also have a small Pelican Bass Raider and use in that too in case the elec. motor poops out, but I'm going to see if they make a slightly longer version bc I sit much higher in the Pelican then the kayak.

First time I extended it and tried to lock it open, the plastic ring that tightens down immediately cracked and will no longer stay open. I'm not even a very strong human, and I especially don't have strong hands, I just pulled it out of the bag and was testing it before needing to use it on a river. Edit: I have been in contact with Oceanborad, the manufacturer. They sent me a replacement item, and I figured it was appropriate to edit my review. While this paddle still doesn't lock very well, this one at least didn't crack, and they were very insistent on making sure I had received a functional product :)

The five person Dory Boat we use, sometimes needs a little extra guidance when docking. Four rowers can sometimes be a challenge during this maneuver. This paddle easily fits under the Coxswain seat, and can be deployed when needed for a little extra guidance.

Luckily only had to use it once but it collapsed well and nice peace of mind having it in the boat.

They worked but not very well. They kept coming unlocked while I was trying to make it up the river. Very frustrating, but in a pinch they would save you, and they do not take up much room. So for emergency yes, daily paddling no thanks.

Picked this up for my Jon boat and it turned out to be the perfect size. The collapsible design makes it easy to store without taking up much room, and it’s sturdy enough to get the job done. I also really like the bright color — makes it easy to spot quickly in case of an emergency. Great paddle at a great price.

Easy to use. Fits easy in the seadoo trunk. Good quality.
