These installed really easily. My bumper was barely hanging on, I put 2 on each side. The first one held up great, the second one there was some testing and trial to get it lined up. It wore out kind of quick, but just put another one and now holds like a champ. Good bang for you buck, if one wears out just a slap a new one on there. Went through the car wash and it did perfect.

These car hood locks are also great for cabinets. I have an RV and needed something to secure my cabinet doors, these worked wonderfully.

Quick-Release? More like AUTO release! The pins remove themselves at the first sign of a bump! They don't hold and are built poorly. Not even worth the cheap price because I emede dup paying with damage to my bumper from it falling off 3 times already, getting stuck under the car and melting from the exhaust. I installed 6 of them to distribute the load, would have done 8 but 2 came defective out the box. I can't even replace these with a different style because I made permanent holes in my bumper so I'm stuck with anxiety every time I hit a bump, had a hard drill a bolt through the middle just make sure the bumper doesn't end up under the car again. Not a good time.

Best decision

To be fair, I did not use these as intended. However, the primary function of the pins, to latch onto the stud and hold, stopped working after 6-8 uses. The pins just fall off the studs. Further, the "stainless" steel studs are rusting at the base when exposed to salt water. Not immersed, just splashes. **UPDATE** a few days after my review the supplier reached out and refunded my purchase. No questions asked. Solid vendor and appreciate that they are reading and responding to reviews.

Work great, used to reattach the corners of my Mustang bumper where the flimsy tabs broke off. Install was easy enough, could’ve gone smoother with a little more planning but I already had holes drilled for a different temporary repair. Would buy again and glad it came with four so I can use the other two for something else. Finish is nice, assuming it’s anodized black. Holds the bumper tight and studs are adjustable for length.
