I've seen better

Ordered two of these. One of the control units was dead on arrival. Will be controlling both lights with one controller so that isn't a real problem. I don't think that I would call these purple. They are more of a white light with a blue or violet cast. I am going to cover these with a purple gel sleeve to achieve the color that I need.
