Peeta is amazing.
This beautiful Peeta doll is amazing. I love the articulated joints on this doll as I love taking pictures of my dolls. The only downside for me was the fact that his outfit was sown onto his body. I ended up cutting off the outfit as I debox my dolls and redress them. The doll is fantastic though. This is a must buy.

Okay doll as an accessory to the Katniss one
I bought Catching Fire Peeta as I had bought Katniss and they do make a cute couple. Peeta's hair is a bit flat so I fluffed it up so it resembled the actor's. His suit is a replica of the Catching Fire arena one but can only be removed by cutting open the back seam. This is no problem if you don't want to remove him from his box but if you like to play around and redress dolls, this isn't so good. His face is okay and his body is jointed so you can pose him. The suit's tightness can prevent some poses though! *Film spoiler alert* He has no weapon - if only he had as in the film he was almost drowned, electrocuted and then attacked by weird dog creatures! He just has a gold necklace. That's why you need to purchase Katniss if you buy him, to look after him!

Peeta is for adult collectors, not children...
This Peeta doll is lovely, it even looks like him. However I didn't realise when I bought it, that it is not a toy as such, rather a doll for adult collectors. Because it is made by Mattel and is part of the Barbie range, I assumed that it was a toy for children, but it is not. It is labelled "Barbie Collector", and it does say, in small type, that it is "Age grade: For the adult collector" on the bottom of the box, and "For the adult collector" on the back. I shall keep it for myself...

Poupée très ressemblante a la photo du produit, qualité impeccable. Seul souci sa combinaison ne s'ouvre pas, il faut la découdre et mettre une pression si on veut l'enlever et la remettre.

Peeta ist meiner Meinung sehr gelungen in seiner Ähnlichkeit. Das Gesicht ist sehr ausdrucksstark. Seine Kleidung sieht klasse aus, ist aber leider nicht zu öffnen. Das heißt natürlich doch, wenn man Hand anlegt, die Naht öffnet und sich die Mühe macht, Druckknöpfe anzunähen. Das ist der einzige Makel. Sonst ist Peeta vollbeweglich, er hat sogar bewegliche Fußgelenke. Eine tolle Sammlerpuppe und zum spielen für verantwortungsvolle ältere Kindergeeignet.

OK I just want to say that I thought I was going to get a life size doll of Peter from the Hungry Movie to display in my dining room to amuse my guests and as a CONVERSATION STARTER. When it has showed up in my mailbox today I was non-plushed to see that it is needless to say only little like a little toy I guess I can still display it for honored guests in my dining room when we have supper parties but any conversations it starts will probably be A LOT SHORTER THAN I THOUGHT! (lol) I am still given this Peter doll 5 stars up because it is a very nice doll and reminds me of the movie trailer I saw of it.
