Airversa AN6 Waterless Diffuser for Essential Oil for Home, Room, Black

This little machine, just about the size of a soda can, is fabulous! I bought this because our home was built in 1981, and ever since we moved in about 2.5 years ago, our home gets a musty old-home smell in peak summer and peak winter months. We’ve had very thorough cleans of our hvac system, replaced one ac unit and the heater. I used so many different air fresheners and keep a very clean home, but we still had those stale air months each year. After some research, I was led to the possibilities of essential oil diffusers. I dropped this diffuser in my cart and then shopped for oils that were best for combatting my issue. I ordered Australian sandalwood for my base with 10% mandarin orange, 10% frangipani, and about 5% ylang ylang. I have two small dogs (luckily they don’t piddle indoors), and I wanted to be sure I kept them safe from toxicity issues. This is my routine . . . 1) Right before bed time, I put this diffuser on the other side of the house in the far corner of the living room (away from dog beds and feeding bowls). I set it on low for one hour. I do this about every other day. Start on low first . . . trust me! 2) During the day when we’re on the living/kitchen side, I put the diffuser in two bedrooms on low for 30 minutes with doors closed. Yes, I have to move it at the half hour mark. I also do this every 2-3 days. 3) When we are all out of the house for over an hour, I place the diffuser next to our main intake valve in the laundry room on high for one hour. This pulls the scent into the airflow system and disperses it throughout the house. Maximum 1x a week. This little machine packs a punch. Do NOT put your face near the mister; it will be highly unpleasant. Start small & build up if needed. This diffuser on low setting dispenses a short 5-10 second burst every 10 minutes (I’m estimating). The medium setting dispenses in about 10-second bursts every 5 minutes approximately. On high, you’ll get about a 15-20 second burst every 5-10 minutes. I have never used more than the 1-hour setting. The diffuser automatically shuts off after 1, 2, or 3 hours. I have not had to recharge it since the purchase. Caution: I’m a novice at diffuser use. I didn’t realize ‘waterless’ meant that you don’t need a carrier oil blended with your essentials. I made that mistake, and the machine barely dispersed anything. After researching the issue, I thoroughly cleaned the machine parts, and it worked perfectly. I suggest you purchase yourself a couple of extra eye droppers, because they break easily in transit from the oil vendors. My house has never smelled this good, and it’s not an artificial chemical spray smell. I’m very happy with my purchase! Highly recommend !

Great product! It’s easy to use, compact, and distributes the scent very well. The battery lasts a long time, and I really like that it doesn’t require water, making it much more convenient and clean. Perfect for home, office, or car use. Highly recommended!

I looked at a lot of waterless diffusers before deciding to order this one, and after about a week of use I've been very happy with it! The instructions were clear and it was easy to set up after charging it. It comes with a short USB-A to USB-C charging cable, an empty 20ml bottle, two extra straws, and a syringe for cleaning. It was a nice touch that there was a sticker on the bottle that told you what length you should cut the straws to for 5, 10, 15, and 20ml bottles. I cut one to the recommended length for a 10ml bottle, screwed a 10ml blend directly into it (after removing the plaster dropper cap), and turned it on with no issues. The mist that comes out is harder to see than a water diffuser, obviously, but it is still visible if you look for it, and you can definitely smell it! I use it in a medium-small bedroom, and have never needed to use the high setting. Medium is plenty, and low works well enough too. Your mileage may vary depending on room size, but it works great for what I use it for. This is my first waterless diffuser, so I can't say how it compares to other models or brands. But I did use a water diffuser before getting this one so, in comparison to a water diffuser: In my opinion, this one is easier to set up and maintain. You don't have to refill the water or clean it every three days. A downside is that the process of cleaning the waterless cleaner is more involved, involving alcohol and a syringe. It only needs to be cleaned monthly, but it's also recommended to clean it when you switch oils if you want to avoid having a mixed scent for a while. As a result, I find it harder to switch scents with the waterless diffuser - I actually haven't changed it out since I put the first one in because I haven't wanted to deal with the cleaning process, while with the water diffuser I could switch it up every time I refilled the water. Design! This waterless diffuser isn't ugly or anything, but it is pretty much just a cylinder while I've seen some very pretty designs for water diffusers that would make a nice decorative piece even when not in use. It's not something I care about that much but I thought I'd mention it. On the bright side, the waterless diffuser is much more portable! I don't worry about spillage nearly as much. It still shouldn't be tipped or turned upside down, but I could see myself putting it in my car's cupholder and using it in there, while I definitely wouldn't try that with a water diffuser even if it was the right shape for it. Next up is price. From what I've seen, waterless diffusers are generally more expensive than a water diffuser. But while it costs more, it also offers advantages that a water diffuser does not, so I still think it's a good value. If I got sent back in time, I'd buy it again. Humidity! I live in Florida. I very rarely have issues with low humidity. I don't really need to be putting any more water into the air than what's already there. Using my water diffuser did make my room more humid. Not enough to be a problem, but enough to notice. So if you're like me and want a diffuser that doesn't double as a humidifier, waterless is the way to go. I think the weakest aspect of this waterless diffuser is the noise. It's not loud, but it's definitely not as quiet as a water diffuser. The noise doesn't bother me at all while I'm sitting at my desk, but it is noticeable, and the fact that it runs intermittently is also a huge factor if you want a diffuser running while you fall asleep. I would NOT use this waterless diffuser while I was trying to sleep because hearing a motor run for a few seconds every three minutes would probably prevent me from drifting off easily. For me this isn't a big deal because I never intended to use it at night, but maybe my experience could help someone else trying to decide on a diffuser. Overall? I think the best way to put it is that I haven't used my water diffuser since the first time I turned this waterless diffuser on. Honestly, despite a couple of minor flaws, I love this thing. Five stars!

I love that it’s rechargeable so I can place it anywhere. I like that it came in different colors to match the tone of the room. I’m putting it in. It is really easy to use, two buttons one for the strength and the other one for the length of time that’ll be on. I wish that there was a time option to go longer than six hours, I do want that auto shut off, but I almost wish it would go up to 10 or 12 hours. But that’s my only complaint. No leaks. Very versatile! Makes the room smell great. Super pleased.

The diffuser is ok. Definitely does not put out the area that it says it will. I have an office about 250sq ft. It is not very strong. I am going to try and move it higher, off my desk. I was trying this to see about buying bigger ones and a few more, but I B will probably look elsewhere to find something that works better. UPDATE: The scent strength has gotten a bit better, as I put it onto a shelf about 5' up on the wall. The downside now is that when it completes its cycle of time (whatever you set it for), I have to unplug it and plug it back in before any of the buttons work again. Then it works good again. It is pretty annoying in that aspect.

**Update 7/1/26: It is mid summer in Florida now, highest amount of 24/7, 92-100% humidity for ductwork in AC systems, and the true test for me in the battle with mold was this time of year. I went out for an appt. and when I came back home, I am pleased to say the house smelled like the Thieves Oil blend I have been mixing in with the thyme. It was delightful! NO more musty smell. I have been doing this daily, letting it diffuse all day and recharging at night. Tip: instead of using only thyme oil, that scent is not my favorite, I mix half thyme oil with half Thieves Oil blend which I make myself, and the smell is soooo much better. The recipe for Thieves Oil Blend can be found with a simple online search. I make a large batch. Highly recommend! Also, I notice pure thyme essential oil is steadily going up in price and sometimes not available, but that oregano essential oil and tea tree oil also fight mold and can be substituted. I give all these details because breathing mold in daily is dangerous and causes a variety of malaise difficult to diagnose, and depression/hoplessness is one of them. End of update.* I bought this diffuser specifically because it is cordless, to diffuse thyme essential oil to kill mold through the ductwork of my in house AC vents, as thyme is the main ingredient in a very popular commercial grade mold killer called Decon 30. The results of killing mold entirely is not quite in after 4 months, but it has definitely helped with the "moldy" smell when the AC goes on. In Florida this is almost unavoidable. I also made sure to kill the mold in all ac vents in every room in this house, and outside on the main AC unit, opening it up and giving that a good clean and spraying with the decon 30. Killing mold is war. I have placed this diffuser in the return vent which in my house is at floor level in laundry nook, which is why I needed a cordless diffuser. I learned to do this trick when smudging with sage, standing by the return vent, I smelled the sage throughout all the house without even smudging in those rooms, the return vent quickly sent the smoke throughout the house. And I thought what if I could do something to kill the mold in the ductwork that way? So that's how this idea to place the diffuser in the return vent came about. All I do is turn on the diffuser which I have filled with PURE THYME ESSENTIAL OIL, put diffuser on highest setting, set it on floor inside vent, close door, and let it diffuse. Every time the AC goes on it pulls the oils through and the whole house smells like thyme. It has lessened the moldy smell, NOT masked it, literally lessened it to the point I do not smell it. I test this often by NOT putting the diffuser on in there and turning on the AC and I still do not smell anything musty/moldy. AT the end of the day, I remove the diffuser from return vent, recharge it overnight, and next day will re-insert it in return vent and let it go as long as AC is on only. I check the amount of oil used, and it is very little. I have a good supply of Thyme Oil. And it is winter now and the heat is on sporadically, I still use it the same way. The moldy odor has gone down for sure. However this diffuser, is very delicate in its diffusion, is why its sold for car use or very small spaces. But I chose it because it is cordless. I do have it on the highest setting, and it does scent the whole house though sometimes it cannot be smelled due to getting used to it. Over time I believe it will help to kill mold that is causing odor. Pure essential oils do NOT contain moisture, so they do not contribute to the moisture in the ductwork. Certain essential oils, like thyme, oregano and tea tree, contain active compounds that can kill mold, prevent its regrowth, and purify the air of airborne spores. When diffused, the microscopic particulates of these oils act as natural antifungal agents. So I am hoping those build up over time and at least maintain a level that is hostile to mold. Others who simply want whole house scent can try this trick of using it inside return vent if you can place it on a floor located return vent. But those of us fighting the mold wars, it will be a non stop thing. I wish the output of the mist was stronger.

I love this thing so much!!! I now have 2 of them, because they're honestly the most versatile and easiest to use diffuser I've ever seen. I love how it's just straight essential oil that goes it, and it still uses the sonic vibrations to turn it into mist. I don't need to refill it each time and count out drops, like water diffusers. So, to be clear, this does not put any humidity into the air - it's straight essential oil and concentrated scent. If you're looking for continuous mist, this is not for you. If you want something that is the least amount of work to get essential oils into the air for scent and medicinal purposes, then this one is awesome! Take it literally anywhere, no need to plug it in, the battery lasts a long time, a full bottle of essential oil lasts a long time, 3 settings, 3 timers, touch screen type of buttons, green light shows if it's on and what setting it's on. I got the one with the entra bottle and dispenser so I don't have to wash out the bottle and straw to switch out scents. I've been using it for months, still looks and works like new. Well worth the money!
