Calling all rooms!
UPDATE: 7.20.18 Customer service was incredible, contacting me immediately and sending me out a new set immediately. The new set works much better in terms of range (reaches entire house) and interference (almost none) The only reservation I still have has nothing to do with the quality of the product: it is the "ring" tone: it scares me, even the unit is set to low volume. Monitor mode: We love it. Mom does a lot of work in the basement, far from helpful ears. Now we can hear her if she falls or simply needs help WITHOUT her having to touch the device (Monitor mode makes the unit function like a baby monitor). Very Handy! Good product and fantastic support. ===== I purchased this set of 3 intercoms for our home - a two story house built in the 30's - so that we didn't have to shout anymore. I'm very unhappy with these for two reasons: the first is a defect (in my opinion) the second is personal. The defect is in the reception, which often is poor with static and not infrequently picks up other signals. (We tried switching the channels) The second is the horribly loud and unpleasant sounding 'ring'. There is no way to change the volume or the type of ring. Hope this helps

Stop Screaming Please....!
My wife and I own a large two story home. We've lived here for many years, yelling and screaming through the floors. "Honey, could you please heat up the rest of the coffee and bring it up to me?!!" "Babe, if you're not going to eat the steamed veggies I made, could you please put them away for me!!!??" Day in and day out, turning off air conditioners, muting T.V.S. and screaming at the top of our lungs through the floors, to communicate but no more...!!!! Now with our new intercoms, all we have to do is press the call button and speak into our intercoms. Eazy peazey....! The best decision we've ever made.....!1!!!

Easy to setup
This is a review of the Hosmart Wireless Intercom system HY777. I recently purchased three of them. One for the bedroom, one for the living room, and one for the workshop in the basement. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and compact they were. Very easy to install – just plug in a wall outlet and they are ready to use. My wife has cancer and takes a lot of naps. Before I got the system, she would holler for help when she had to get up from the bed. Sometimes, I didn’t hear her, as I was either in another part of the house or in my workshop in the basement. That is why I needed this system. After reading the reviews and the excellent price I ordered the three. I did have some difficulty with static interference so I corresponded with customer service. They always responded in a timely manner and gave me some helpful suggestions to minimize the static. They were excellent. I still occasionally get static but it is much less often than before. I am satisfied with the product. Two suggestions I would make are 1) the units should have an on and off switch rather than pulling the plug and plugging it in again when you want to use it and 2) the volume control needs to be changed as it doesn’t seem to work correctly. Apparently, there is an upgrade so the newer version might address these issues.

Volume adjustment issues...
Unfortunately there are a few flaws with this system. The ringer is LOUD and there is no way to adjust the volume. I bought these for my salon, and the ring is outrageously obnoxious. The other problem is that I can't get the volume to adjust loud enough to be able to hear one another. As you adjust the volume, it doesn't even change enough to notice a difference. Unfortunately, this will be another dust collector for me... however, if you don't have a situation where you need to adjust the volume, these may work for you.

Doesn't work as promised. Try something else.
I rarely write reviews. But this product was worthless. Intensely loud call ringer. Really low talk volume. Setup instructions were literally wrong. Called their help. Great guy tried to help. He realized the instructions are wrong (based on a new version, NOT the one in the box). But even after helping, the talk volume was way too soft, And the ringer volume is not adjustable ( as the instructions say it is). Returned for full refund today. Don’t waste your money on this.

No more shouting around the house!
My older Husband and I live in a 3 story chalet. He doesn't hear well and when I'm upstairs and he's down, I have to stand at the top of the stairs and SHOUT if I need him, telephone call, etc. Not always hearing me, I have to run downstairs and it gets very frustrating. This system has been a blessing. It sends a loud beep 3 times to alert an incoming "call" and he responds very well with the equipment. Best thing I ever bought for this house!

200 feet away and no problem
Three of us are using these intercoms, living on same property. They work perfectly, just follow instructions easy to set up. I haven't understood the battery part so all of us are just plugging it in and using it. The item works good, well made, I would definitely recommend this intercom, so far no static. We received the item much earlier than expected. We all absolutely love it. Hopefully, a year or two from now I can say the same thing.

Not very dependable
When I press the call button the unit i'm calling from rings and my second unit on the same floor rings but the third unit on the second floor does not ring. If I call back from the unit on the second floor the system will work. Same problem every morning . Sound is bad. Worked with your tech department and could not solve the problem. Your tech department was very patient and professional, try as we my we just couldn't get the units to work properly. I have a two story frame house. I have one unit upstairs and two units downstairs. I really hate to write a bad review because your tech services couldn't have been nicer in trying to help. After writing this review I moved the unit on the second floor from the carpeted room it was in to a non carpeted room on the second floor and the units all worked. The sound still could be better but the units did work as designed. My conclusion is, Carpeted floors between units somehow inter-fer with the signal. I must use the unit in the room with carpet so therefore this system is useless for me.
