Warranty Cost Me $185 Just to Get It Repaired
1 Stars โ Warranty ended up costing me almost $200 I bought this Dolphin Explorer E25 expecting a premium product backed by a reliable warranty. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After only about 6 months, the robot stopped responding and displayed a communication error between the power supply and the robot. I had to contact Maytronics and send the entire unit (robot, power supply, and cable) to their service center. The biggest surprise was that I had to pay $184.75 out of pocket just to ship the robot for warranty service. That was my responsibility, even though the product was still under warranty. When I received the robot back, the service report showed no issues with the cable or motor. It appears they mainly updated the power supply/firmware and returned it. There was no reimbursement for the expensive shipping cost, no prepaid label, and no goodwill credit, despite the robot being only six months old. For a premium robotic pool cleaner, this warranty process is very expensive for the customer. Spending nearly $185 just to obtain warranty service significantly reduces the value of the warranty itself. The robot may clean well when it works, but buyers should understand that if something goes wrong during the warranty period, you may have to pay substantial shipping costs to get it repaired. I expected much better customer support from a company selling products at this price point.

Maytronics: Poor Product / Frustrating Customer Support
I purchased my Dolphin Explorer E25 on August 5, 2024, to replace a malfunctioning robot of the same model that came with my house. I have had to return this new unit for service three separate times due to recurring communication errors between the bot and the power supply. Returning the robot for warrantee repair is a hassle. You need to ship it fed-ex In a giant box with bubble wrap to the Maytronics HQ in Georgia. I have had to do this 3 separate times (March 15, March 23, and April 20, 2026). Each time I received a repaired unit, it failed the first time I put it in the water. As of today, the robot has been out of my possession for approximately 3.5 months, out of the 21 months I have owned it. While Maytronics eventually agreed to a full replacement on April 28, 2026, the experience was marred by continual follow up on my part and annoying and unnecessary repetitive documentation requests from them. I've since purchased a Beatbot A100 which is wireless and does and equivalent job at cleaning the pool and has much better ratings for customer support. They have a local warrantee repair representative, who was happy to talk to me about their process. If you like arguing with customer support and cleaning you pool manually, this this the company for you. Otherwise stay away from Maytronics and their Dolphin brand.

Stay far away from maytronics
Lasted 1 year.....really hate that I purchased this 800$ piece of crap. I had high hopes and it disappointed on every level. Used to work but it has never cleaned every part of the pool. There is no smart mapping, it randomly drives everywhere and will get suck back and forth on stairs. It was nice to set and forget but its lack of cleaning quality made it worth it. Finally after 1 season the cable separated from the swivel part of the water proofed heat wrap. Leaked water down the cable to the 3 prong in the motor connection. I will never waste 800$ on maytronics ever again. Warranty is a joke, they want you to self diagnose, and still pay to ship it to them....thats non refundable. Stay away

Works great so far
So far so good. Had no issues setting it up and getting it connected via the app. It is running on a schedule which works great. It has been doing a great job of getting all over the pool and I have not noticed it miss any areas yet. A big plus for me was that has not been getting stuck on my two main drains like my previous cleaner constantly did. This cleaner appears to go right over them with ease. Easy to retrieve and clean out the filters. It does appear to get all the way up to the waterline, which was not important for me, but a nice addition.

EU electricity socket missing in package.
The pool robot is working very good. A rather frustrating problem was that no EU electricity socket was included. For an item with this pricetag, an EU socket, should be included when shipped to the European continent. Of course we did find a solution, but it is a first impression that could have been better.

Horrific Experience!
This product has been an ongoing nightmare! It stop working in less than a year, had the most difficult time getting in contact with the manufacturer, not to mention they make you pay the shipping cost, was close to $100, through FedEx. The mailing address provided by this company could be Boggus Address, the ITEM WAS UNDELIVERABLE and retuned back! This item is close to $1000.00, absolutely no consideration from the manufacturer! Purchase at your own risk! As you been warned. Horrific Company/Service!
