Worked Great
Great little lock box. Worked perfectly, easy to use, very good value. Excellent way to store extra house keys securely instead of the obvious under the mat or flower pot trick. Very good purchase.

I am very pleased with this
The drill bit is 6mm or ~15/64th. Near impossible to find metric drill bits . Peacock blue is great looking. Drill the holes, carefully light hammer the inserts into theholes. No portion of the plastic insert should form a ridge above the hole. Then line up the lock box holes with the drilled holes and then you simply put in the screws. Do not tighten the screws down until you have all four in place. Hopefully you have used a level to determine the precise line for making the box level. Holding the box in place, merely screw in the screws a little bit at a time for each one of them until they're nice and tight. Do not over tighten. This is a very nice box that will hold a lot of keys if you are careful as to how you put them in. Such a box is used for many different things, but the most important function it holds is that if emergency people need to get into your apartment or house, they can do so as long as they know the combination. It can also be a big aid in the event that you lost your key or you're on vacation and you would like a friend to be able to see how things look inside... if there happens to be some kind of roof damage. A box like this is especially useful for an elderly grandmother or grandfather whereby the locals or the EMT department can get into the house to help them. I tried two other lock boxes that hung on the door knob. When it got dark One evening I went out and tried one of them and came to the realization that if an EMT needed to get into the apartment knowing the combination would not have speeded things up at all. The common ordinary door knob that our front door has made it very cumbersome to lean down and then somehow in the dark with even an overhead flashlight put in the combination. Those two bad experiences with two different types made me move to this one that is mounted on the wall next to the door. The directions are self-explanatory and easy to follow If you take the time to read it two to three times . what they need to do is to state the diameter of the imperial bit. As I say above, finding a 6 mm drill bit is almost impossible so you need to go with the 15/64th which is approximately 5.95 mm. Even I had trouble finding that, but it turned out a series of bits made by Ryobi fit the bill perfectly. With four long screws buried into the wall, this would be time consuming to remove even with a large crowbar. Yes, I'm sure somebody with a diamond cutting blade could tear the thing open. There is an iron one that is clearly made of heavy duty metal which would be very difficult to get into. But the design made it impossible to get at quickly while hanging on a door and it was impossible to be able to mount it on the wall. The one solution I had for that one was to put in a 3-in heavy duty eye bolt and then attach the iron ring to that. It would hang free on the wall at a height that would be more acceptable. I much prefer the Puroma key lock box. I am not promoting this box nor am I getting paid to speak highly of it. I'm very pleased with the shape of it, the smaller size of it, and my ability to put it at a level where it will be easy to see and get into.

Good and simple - no electronics required!
This is a very simple and effective key holder. The structure is sound. It was easy to set the lock and I can change the code whenever I feel I need to.

This is a more affordable answer to similar products of established brands. The lock function and quality meet most everyday indoor requirement.

Easy to use
I used this on a rental property I was remodeling so that everyone could go in and out without me being there. It was very easy to install and use and the instructions to set the code were easy to follow. It seems sturdy. It was on a door knob behind a storm door so I'm not sure about weather resistance. I put 2 keys in it but it could probably hold a couple more if needed.

Your Spare Key’s New Best Friend: Puroma Key Lock Box!
If you’re like me and have a habit of misplacing keys—or just want a safe place to stash a spare—then the Puroma Key Lock Box is about to become your new best friend. This little gadget is simple, secure, and exactly what you need for peace of mind when it comes to keeping your keys safe. 1. ROCK-SOLID SECURITY: Let’s start with the obvious: this lockbox is tough. The heavy-duty construction feels like it could withstand a minor apocalypse (or at least the elements). I mounted it outside, and I’ve been impressed with how solid and sturdy it feels. The metal casing and secure combination lock make it a fortress for your spare keys—perfect for those who value security. 2. EASY SETUP, EASY ACCESS: Setting up the lockbox was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had it mounted and ready to go in minutes. The combination is easy to set and reset, which is great if you ever need to change it. Now, instead of worrying about getting locked out or hiding a key under a rock (not the best security strategy, FYI), I have a safe, secure spot that’s easy to access whenever I need it. 3. WEATHER-PROOF WONDER: One of my concerns was whether this lockbox could handle the weather, but so far, so good! Rain, snow, and even the occasional heatwave haven’t phased it. The rubber cover adds an extra layer of protection, keeping the combination dials safe from the elements. This thing is built to last. 4. PEACE OF MIND FOR ALL OCCASIONS: Whether you’re a frequent traveler, need to let the dog walker in, or just want a secure place for an emergency key, this lockbox does the trick. I even set one up at my elderly parent’s house so I can access it if needed. It’s been a real game-changer for convenience and security. FINAL THOUGHTS: The Puroma Key Lock Box is a must-have for anyone looking to secure their spare keys in a simple, reliable, and weather-resistant way. It’s built like a tank, easy to use, and gives me the peace of mind I need, knowing that I’ll never be locked out again. If you’re looking for a secure, no-nonsense solution for key storage, this is it. I’m sold, and you will be too!

Small Hardware Solutions That Make Sharing Keys Easier
I got this key lock box for work and it’s been perfect so far. It feels sturdy and durable, and I like that it can either be mounted or hung with the removable shackle—very versatile depending on your setup. The instructions to set the combination were straightforward, and the dials are easy to turn. It also has enough room inside to hold a couple of keys, which is great for emergencies or shared access. Weatherproof and compact—overall, a great little tool that does exactly what I needed.
