Overly sweet and not a good quality chocolate ! Not at all as described & quoted... "traditional high quality Belgian chocolate w/ creamy and smooth taste with flavor profiles that industry professionals have known to love and expect from Europe."

Not cheap-- but read the ingredients. You're buying cocoa butter as opposed to hydrogenated oils. Don't make my mistake and buy "chocolate coating." If you see the words "no tempering required," avoid it. Cocoa fat has different properties than seed oils and requires tempering. Couverture means "covering," like the coating on a piece in a box of expensive chocolates. I've bought this several times to make candy. I take the time to properly temper it and have had excellent results. No shortcuts or saving a buck here! UPDATE: In April. 2026 the price dropped 51%, from $20.39 to $9.99/lb. Thar's a heck of a reduction. I'm stocking up!!

These chocolates are smooth and great tasting even just a handful or for baking. They are not big pebble sizes. They are tiny little pebbles of chocolate. It’s really hard to find Belgium chocolate in the grocery stores. They have a consistency that differs from American chocolate. There’s just no comparison if you’re familiar with Costco’s Kirkland Belgium chocolates during Christmas then you’ll understand the taste. I took one star off only because of delivery via Amazon. It was a pretty warm day and a few of them were melted. Had it been this summer, I think all of them would’ve been melted.

The taste is amazing but it isn’t a good chocolate to make anything with because it melts fast just in your hand. Even if it has be refrigerated or put in the freezer… this made it hard to make my Dubai chocolates.
