Great soup pot!
LOVE IT! Perfect for soups and messy chili as it’s tall enough to keep from splattering on my stove.

Better than expected!!!
After reading much on the reviews online for this pot, I decided to order it and hoped that at least it would work as for my needs. What I received went well beyond my expectations for this pot! The finish is well made and the top fits perfectly all the time. There's that metal-chemical smell when you first remove the lid from the pot, as with any type of goods which receives special coatings of protection. After a generous bath in vinegar and another bath in concentrated orange cleaner, the odor is kaput! The pot is tall but not so much as to be hard to cook in the stovetop. Clean up is a breeze and the outside will not hold runs as others. The material in the lid knob as well as the two side handles is not the type used on my T-Fal set, they feel more plastic than rubbery. The pot heats evenly and as expected from non-stick interiors, foods will not cling to the walls or interior bottom. My only complaint would be that the external bottom is hard to clean when spills reach the base, as the grooves are anything but easy to scrub. Other than this minor setback, this is another great product from the T-Fal line which is becoming a classic stamp in our kitchen! If you want your non-stick pots and cooking sets to last, dump every piece of metallic spoons and serving ware that you normally use to cook in your kitchen! We have a set from 7 years ago made by T-Fal which still retains the non-stick abilities like the first day they were unboxed and used! No matter how much they tell you is ok to use metal spoons and stuff, don't! Update! 11/05/2012 Man! This is not a "pot" but the "Pot" of pots! What a POT! Still like new after heavy, and I mean heavy use! The problems faced by others must be due to overheating the pot in the first place! Coated pots are NOT to be used with high heat at any given time! Apart from the normal wear from heavy use, the pot is the best value for the money! You won't be sorry if you order this pot! UPDATE!!! 06/07/2013 After quite some nice time using this pot, the results are undeniable! The pot is good for the money paid! Again, don't use any metal serving ware or spoons and the coating will remain intact for years. I'm posting a few pictures as an update to the coating inside and outside of the pot, so you can judge on it after almost two years of weekly use. Pictures speak better than words... If your take care of your pot, it will last for a long time in service! Update! 09/10/2015 Heavy every other day use and still in good shape! Some scuffs here and there, but still in top shape. It's a very good value for the buck. I'm happy I read as many reviews as I did before I purchased it. The coating is still intact for the most part. The bottom cleaning was hit and miss with many products, until I started to use a bit of baking soda. The lid is just the same as when I got it home. No warping, no residue build up in the inside seam, no lost parts. The handles are still firmly attached and the molding on them still as good as when new. Overall, if you can still find a pot like this, it's well worth the buck. The pictures 6 to 9 are from 09/10/2015!!! Update 05/31/2017!!!!!!! Still the pot of pots! No problems so far ( knock on wood). The coating has faded a bit more as of lately, but its non-stick properties are still there. Just normal wear after so many years of usage. Best por for my money! Pot'o luck!? Update 6/18/2019 Still cooking weekly with it! Happy with my purchase!

Soups on
Love it. Non stick, easy to clean. Height and capacity perfect for our soups. We eat soup just about every day. So making a large quantity to freeze by portions is perfect for us. Excellent choice

Nice Pot, but Seems to Take Forever to Boil!
We love T-Fal products for their quality and reasonable price. We have been using T-Fal for 10+ years and have had multiple sets. We have a full set of Pots and Pans and wanted to add this to our collection so that we could have a little bit bigger pot for larger meals. It is built with the same quality that you would expect from T-Fal. I like how it is tall, not wide like most stock pots. Our only complaint is that it seems to take forever to boil water. Now this is not because it holds more water. If we put our T-Fal 5-Quart Dutch Oven Pot next to this Stockpot with the same amount of water in it, the dutch oven comes to a boil much quicker. Maybe it is because the tall, thin profile has a smaller base that touches the element, or because it seems heavier, and maybe a little thicker, but either way, we actually don't use this very often because it takes so long to heat up. My wife actually avoids using it because it is so slow. It is unfortunate because it is such a nice, large pot. Other than that, it seems to be a great product, just be aware, you may have to wait on this pot a bit longer than you are used to.

Large, lightweight stockpot that’s great for soups, pasta, and batch cooking
The T-fal 12-quart nonstick stockpot is a very practical piece of cookware if you regularly cook larger meals. The size is ideal for soups, chili, pasta, broths, or meal prepping bigger batches for the week. Despite the large capacity, the pot feels surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle compared to heavier stainless steel stockpots. The nonstick interior works well and makes both cooking and cleanup easier. Ingredients don’t stick easily, and the surface rinses clean without a lot of scrubbing. The included lid fits securely and helps retain heat while simmering soups or sauces. The stay-cool handles are also comfortable to grip, even when the pot has been on the stove for a while. It heats evenly on standard stovetops and the 350°F oven-safe rating gives some flexibility for certain recipes. One helpful tip is to avoid using metal utensils to help preserve the nonstick coating over time. It’s also useful to preheat the pot briefly before adding oil or ingredients so food cooks more evenly. Overall, this stockpot offers a great combination of large capacity, lightweight handling, and easy cleanup, making it a useful addition for everyday cooking and big-batch meals.

Best stockpot I’ve ever owned
This is, by far, the best stockpot I’ve ever owned. Of course, it’s only the second one I’ve ever owned. The first one was OK, but had a real issue with food sticking when I wanted it to simmer. This one, being 12 quarts, is amazingly large, and I can put all of the vegetables I like in it to cook down to make a good pot of stew. Tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, celery, peppers, okra, etc. I use a lot of veggies. I also use about a pound of beef. I like the veggies seasoned in the stew and so therefore I don’t think all that meat is important but a little bit of meat is good. I’ve only had it for a short while, and this is only my first pot of stew in it. But best of all, it cooked cleanly WITHOUT sticking. So easy to clean. Time will tell if it was worth the rather reasonable price.
