Pine Mountain Traditional Firelog, 2-Hour Burn Time, 1 Log

Always good in my small fireplace. Have to saw it in half and add wood at its half time.

I read the reviews but decided to place this order to see for myself because the price was right ($15.99) if it was for six logs. It is indeed a single firelog and not a 6-pack as in the description. This review is based only on misrepresentation and not the product itself. My wife and I live in a one bedroom apartment with a fireplace in the living room and they work very well and last roughly 3 hours. They light quickly and burn evenly without the need to add kindling or stoke the fire. Amazon offered a refund once I submitted the return. I placed a new order for an actual 6-pack at $19.99 with Prime shipping.

I love these logs. I get at least four hours of burn time. I have tried several other brands and so far these burn the brightest and longest. I received two boxes of six logs each every month through the subscribe and save program. I pay just under $29 a month for 12 logs. I did read other reviews on here of people complaining about high shipping costs and also receiving one log for a high price. I did not experience that because I did purchase this through the subscribe and save which offered no shipping costs And a 5% discount. Oh and pay no mind to the duraflame box in the picture. That is an empty box of logs that I had previously used and was not happy with.

I was kind of surprised at how long these logs lasted; longer than listed on the box. I got them on sale for less than $19 originally. When I thought about ordering more they had gone up by $10.00 so I tried Duraflame crackel which went on sale for under $20. I liked this a bit better than the Duraflame crackle logs as these were not trouble starting or keeping lit and they lasted much longer than expected.

The nay sayers here must have gotten a bad bunch or had some other issues. They light great burn great give nice heat and leave little ash. I burn them inside all the time there is no odor (other than the desired burning wood smell) very little smoke they are clean convenient fire for someone who wants a quick warm fire a few times a season. Much better than buying real wood and dealing with that mess and bug issues.

No matter how hard you try, the logs just won't ignite. I have used this brand before with great success but this latest batch are completely useless and will probably have to be thrown away. I would return them but I can't lift the box. Won't buy them again.

I bought Pine Mountain Firelogs last year and they did their job. I had no complaints. Now the firelogs are getting a bad rap because someone, who is responsible for making sure 1 box equals 6 logs and not a single log, is not doing their job. To make matters worse, the problem hasn't been fixed in a long time.
