Frozen Read-Along (Book and CD)

I got this book for my 4y/o girl and she has played through it 6x in the last 24 hours. The great part about this read-a-long is the audio is so full and lively. So many sound effects to draw you in to the story. As well as the original voices from the characters themselves. The pages are good quality, and the narration has specific "magic wand" type sound to let kids know when to turn the page (great for kids who haven't learned to read yet). Added bonus we stumbled upon: I imported the cd track into iTunes, so we could play it in the car or on appletv, and I opened up iBook ... And there was the read-a-long, with the picture pages and all! So I plan on adding many more of these books, they're a great deal. Albeit, they are fairly short in length. But, still worth every penny.

Got this to encourage my youngest granddaughter to read and it has done the trick. She loves it and proudly told me she can even read it without the CD now! As a former teacher I find read along systems to be great for children to get a head start on hreading - while some may be using rote memory - they still are learning word forms and will be encouraged when they see they understand those words in other settings! Highly recommend this, The CD recording is done in a very nice voice it is clear and conscise and the enonciation is spot on. Your child will undoubtedly enjoy the story too!

We have not seen the movie Frozen yet, but I've heard about friends' kids being upset by some aspects the ending. Reading this read-along (and in our family's case - listening to it several hundred times) definitely takes the edge off the impact of the end - probably not so great for older kids or adults, but good for younger kids who might get overwhelmed. And movie aside, this is a good storybook - and the read-along aspect is fun for the car.

My daughter loves these books. This is the second one we have bought. The narration, the little sound clips of the actual movie, and sound effects are very engaging. Every time we get into the car she wants to read her books, which is great for my little 5 year old. The price is wonderful, and I know eventually I will have all of them! I just love these!

My 6 yr old daughter loved this movie. She loves this book and read along CD. It has an audio cue so kids know when to turn the page which is helpful. She can mostly follow along, but the audio cue is very helpful when she loses her place. I like this because I can either read to her or she can listen to the CD and still be read to.

Frozen! What a wonderful story. The book does a good job of capturing the story. The reading voice is great. I wish there were songs incorporated in any of the Read-Along books produced these days. They were when I was a girl and I just miss that integration. The songs such a wonderful part of the whole story. My 4 year old daughter loves this and doesn't care a bit there aren't any songs. She doesn't know the difference.

Disney really made a great story with this one. It has appeal for many ages of girls AND boys. Many of the secondary characters are interesting and/or funny and make you fall in love with them. But the best thing of all? The message that breaks the age-old idea that all of us princesses need a prince to save us. Not so! A truly heartwarming story with a great ending!

Some people are worth melting for, and some books are too. There is a reason this story is taking off. It is a great book. Get it and your little kids can hear the story whether you are able to read it to them right then or not. Very good quality pictures, and good voiceover work on the disc. Great thing to have around.

Difficile ici de ne pas passer outre ce mattraquage commerciale C'est clair anna et bidulle sont partout.... un kleenex à la brosse à dents electriques, les rayons en sont pleins et les enfants en sont frainds Pour faire plaisir à une amie de 6 ans nous avons donc pris le livre..mais en anglais, histoire d'y ajouter un interet. L'Enfant etait ravie
