Outstanding Accessory
Works as advertised, well built and is a great accessory to my Mac Mini M2. The only thing that could use some improvement is having a more detailed setup/configuration guide.

Good until Mac OS 26
Worked flawlessly until upgraded to Mac OS 26. Drives get disconnected when downloading or uploading files

External storage works, DP killed two monitors
I was excited to get this device at what I thought was a steal compared to other options. However after a couple months of daily use this device killed my monitor. I presumed it was the monitor at fault and swapped it out for a known good device only for the new monitor to die almost instantaneously when connected to the display port of this device. Buyer beware, I’m now out multiple monitors and will have to replace this device with a more costly option as it can no longer be trusted.

SD cards stick to insert and won't mount
I'll be contacting the company to see if this is just a bad unit. The SD card slot is not spring loaded, and is very stiff getting a card inserted. On M2 Pro. I'll update if problems are remedied.

If you need extra ports this is a must buy.
Well, Apple is stingy on ports so you will need this accessory. But, this particular model will not work with 2024 Mini Mac since is a bit smaller. But, Amazon does have a new version available for the 2024 model so no worries.

Partially DOA
I added a 5v power adapter to the USB-C port that is intended for power input. I was unable to get the 2.5 inch hard drive port to recognize two different known good working SSDs. I will be returning this and it’s unlikely I will want a replacement
